Abstract
Reinforcement of natural rubber was achieved using multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) dispersed with non-ionic, polymeric-based surfactant. MWCNTs were first dispersed in aqueous solution of INUTEC driven by sonication and then mixed with natural rubber latex. From these mixtures MWCNTs with natural rubber were prepared by casting method. The morphology of the reinforced latex films was investigated by FESEM and AFM. When applying adequate preparation conditions, MWCNTs were well dispersed and homogeneously incorporated in the natural rubber matrix. Mechanical and electrical test results showed an increase in the tensile strength and conductivity than to pure natural rubber. The nanocomposites possess the good tensile strength even without extensive purification on the nanomaterials produced and without any pretreatment on the natural rubber used. The approach presented can be adapted to other MWCNTs/polymer latex systems...

Abstract

Abstract
The study examines the effect of using low nickel (Ni) with high ceria (CeO2) anode content towards the oxidation of H2 and CH4 fuel by evaluating the activation energy of the ohmic process and charge transfer process. Using a micro-tubular solid oxide fuel cell (MT-SOFC), the anodes are made up of 50% YSZ with varying NiO:CeO2 percentages from 0% NiO, 50% CeO2 to 50% NiO, 0% CeO2. The performance is measured based on maximum power density (MPD), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and activation energy, Ea of the ohmic (Rohm) and charge transfer (Rct) processes. We found that by lowering the Ni content to lower than 50% NiO, anode conductivity will drop by 7-fold. An anode containing 37.5% NiO, 12.5% CeO2 yield MPD of 41.1 and 2.9 mW cm−2 when tested on H2 and CH4 fuels thus have the lowest Ni content without an abrupt negative effect on the MPD and EIS. The significant effect of conductivity drops on MPD and EIS are observed to occur at 25% NiO, 25% CeO2 and lowe.....

Abstract
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have played an important role in fostering growth, employment and national income around the world. However, despite the significant role and contribution to the economy, SMEs faced some constraints and challenges that directly affect their business growth and performance. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to suggest strategies that will help in enhancing SME's capabilities through the entrepreneurial marketing approaches. Firstly, the paper identified the marketing issues faced by SMEs. Subsequently, it focused on the discussion on the EM dimensions that exist in the domain of marketing and entrepreneurship. The researchers had identified and analyzed three EM models in the EM literature. In conclusion, the paper proposed a structural research model to be conducted in the future research.  ..

Abstract
The implementation of teaching supervision in the classroom is mandatory for all teachers. This study aimed to obtain a consensus or an agreement among the chosen experts on the constructs and items of supervision in food services. The interviews conducted with the eight experts found that there are only five successful constructs that had reached the consensus among the experts and additionally, there are some constructs modification that were made which is (i)planning and preparation (ii)implementation and delivery (iii)evaluation method (iv)objectives achievement and reflection (v)teachers’ professional responsibilities. Researchers have formulated items for each construct in the questionnaire with reference to the previous studies. The questionnaire that has been developed will then be evaluated and reviewed by experts in the second round of the Delphi technique. The instrument for this study consists of a set of questionnaire, which contains 72 items and is then being distribute.....

Abstract
Safety assessment for traditional herbal medicinal products such as “jamu” and “makjun” in Malaysia include the laboratory tests for heavy metals, microbiology and scheduled poisons. Test for aflatoxins is not included. Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is genotoxic and carcinogenic. Its possible contamination in these products should be ruled out. In this study, 12 samples of “jamu” and “makjun”, analyzed using IAC clean-up and HPLC were found to have a mean levels of positive samples (incidence) as 0.97 (17%), 0.24 (17%), 0.92 (8%), 0.30 (8%) and 1.82 (17%) µg/kg, and the range was 0.94 - 0.99, 0.06 - 0.42, 0.92, 0.30 and 1.00 - 2.63 µg/kg, for AFB1, AFB2, AFG1,AFG2 and total AF, respectively. Low contamination level might be attributed to the antifungal effects of some medicinal herbs.  ..

Abstract
The miscibility between hydrophilic biofibre and hydrophobic matrix has been a challenge in developing polymer biocomposite. This study investigated the anhydride modification effect of propionic and succinic anhydrides on Kenaf fibre’s functional properties in vinyl ester bionanocomposites. Bionanocarbon from oil palm shell agricultural wastes enhanced nanofiller properties in the fibre-matrix interface via the resin transfer moulding technique. The succinylated fibre with the addition of the nanofiller in vinyl ester provided great improvement of the tensile, flexural, and impact strengths of 92.47 ± 1.19 MPa, 108.34 ± 1.40 MPa, and 8.94 ± 0.12 kJ m−2, respectively than the propionylated fibre. The physical, morphological, chemical structural, and thermal properties of bionanocomposites containing 3% bionanocarbon loading showed better enhancement properties. This enhancement was associated with the effect of the anhydride modification and the nanofiller’s homogeneity in bio.....
