Kajian ini bermatlamat untuk meneroka kewujudan muzik dan tari landok sampot di daerah Lawee Sawah, Aceh Selatan, Indonesia yang pada masa ini tengah terancam pupus. Objektif kajian ini adalah : untuk melihat kewujudan, usaha pemeliharaan I pemulihan, dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi pupusnya muzik dan tari landok sampot dalam kebudayaan masyarakat di Kluet Timur daerah Aceh Selatan. Kaedah kajian yang digunakan ialah pemerhatian, temu bual dan analisis dokumen. Kajian ini dijalankan menerusi kaedah kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian kes. Kajian ini telah dijalankan terhadap 10 orang responden yang dipilih secara bertujuan (purposive). Dapatan kajian menunjukkan keadaan tari landok sampot pada ketika ini sudah agak jarang dipersembahkan, landok sampot juga tidak berkembang diluar kawasan Lawee Sawah, Aceh Selatan. International students are generally susceptible to experience anxiety in their social interaction due to differences in the way of life in the foreign culture of the host country. International students who have social anxiety problems may tend to avoid social interactions, feeling uncomfortable in the new social environment, and this could have an untoward impact on them academically. Some findings have shown that self-esteem are related to well-being and low level of anxiety. However, some other studies did not support this view. Hence, the aim of this study was to further clarify the relationship between self-esteem and subjective well-being on social anxiety among International students of Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI) and to examine the level of social anxiety that is prevalent among them. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti bentuk ekspresi pengalaman visual pelajar orang Asli dalam catan yang dihasilkan. Terdapat tiga aspek penting yang menjadi tumpuan kajian iaitu ekspresi pengalaman visual dalam hasil karya, bentuk pengalaman visual yang mempengaruhi ekspresi seni dan hubungan persekitaran.Batasan kajian hanya tertumpu kepada pelajar Orang Asli yang bersekolah di sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sungai Pusu, Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kualitatif menerusi kajian kes. Kaedah pengumpulan data kajian melibatkan temu bual, analisis karya dan rakaman visual. Seramai 22 orang informan dengan karya yang telah dihasilkan telah ditemubual berdasarkan pengalaman masing-masing. Hasil kajian menunjukkan terdapatnya pengaruh persekitaran dalam hasil karya yang diekspresikan sebagai representasi pengalaman visual pelajar-pelajar Orang Asli. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk: menilai kualiti air loji kumbahan bagi parameter BOD dan SS serta implikasinya terhadap Sungai Kinta. Sembilan stesen persampelan air loji IWK dalam kawasan Bandaraya Ipoh telah dipilih untuk: diuji kualiti serta mengenalpasti punca yang menyumbang kepada kemerosotannya. Persampelan air sisa kumbahan yang telah dirawat dan sebelum dialirkan ke dalarn sungai dilakukan sebanyak empat kali merangkumi musim hujan dan musim kering. Perbandingan juga dilakukan dengan data sekunder kualiti air dari Jabatan Alam Sekitar (JAS) 1993-2008. Hasil mendapati bacaan sampel air selepas rawatan kumbahan untuk BOD melebihi piawaian yang telah ditetapkan JAS iaitu 9.3 mg/L yang direkodkan pada musim hujan di stesen IPH304 manakala bacaan terendah juga dicatatkan di stesen yang sarna pada musim kering iaitu 1.1 mg/L. Konsep keindahan dalam kesusasteraan Melayu sering ditanggapi berasaskan kerangka pemikiran estetik Barat. Terdapat juga kerangka teori estetik Melayu seperti Puitika Sastera Melayu oleh Muhammad Haji Salleh dan Rasa-Fenomenologi oleh Sohaimi Abdul Aziz yang boleh digunakan untuk memahami konsep keindahan dalam kesusasteraan Melayu, namun, kedua-dua kerangka teori ini tidak mengambil Islam sebagai asas yang mendasari keindahan, sedangkan kajian terdahulu menunjukkan, bahawa teras utama kesusasteraan Melayu ialah Islam dan jati diri bangsa Melayu itu sendiri. Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan pendekatan Estetika Bersepadu dalam analisis puisi Ahmad Kamal Abdullah bagi memahami konsep keindahan bermakna dalam puisi Melayu moden. Melalui penghasilan modul ini, guru-guru muzik ataupun individu yang berminat untuk menguasai nyanyian lagu Melayu Asli di peringkat asas, akan dapat memahami sedikit sebanyak perkara penting yang perlu diketahui sebelum mempelajari nyanyian lagu Melayu Asli ini dengan lebih mendalam. Group Theory is a powerful formal method for analyzing and rationalizing abstract and physical systems. In this research, group theory is used to rationalize the crystallographic point groups. This research focuses on Bieberbach group, that is a torsion free crystallographic group. Rationalizing this Bieberbach group means determining the group theory theories on constructing the group for any point group P, determining the properties of the group and computing the nonabelian tensor square of the group. In determining the theories on constructing the Bieberbach group, n—dimension Bieberbach group with any point group is considered. However, to determine the properties and to compute the nonabelian tensor square of the group, only the centerless Bieberbach group of dimension 4 with dihedral point group of order 8 is focused. The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of different training program on jumping height. Subjects were selected from students enrolled in the first semester in Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (15 females and 13 males). These subjects were randomly assigned to three training groups. The plyometric group (PT)? weight training group (WT) and complex or ballistic training group (PT). All three groups undertook an 8-weeks training program designed to develop explosive power in the lower extremities. Motor ability that was measured was jumping height using the Kistler Quattro Jump apparatus before and after the training program ended. A oneway ANOVA was used to compare the jumping heights of the subjects. There were no significant differences found in jumping heights among the males for all the training methods practiced for absolute jump height (p> 0.05) and neither there were any significant difference between the female groups...

Medical tourism is increasingly becoming popular and the competitions are growing among choices for global community. Health tourism is relatively new in Malaysia, however the emergence of this industry was started since the year 1997. One of the earliest forms of health tourism that of visiting mineral or hot springs has also existed in Malaysia for some time. Recently, the development of health tourism has been extended when there are more and more private hospitals and medical centers offering their healthcare services especially in major cities. Therefore, Malaysia is optimistic over the growth prospects on health tourism and it is also included in the Ninth Malaysia Plan (RMK-9) as one of the possible area in generating revenue for the nation economic.
