‘Teachers Questioning In The Teaching of Reading Comprehension’ was a study aimed at categorising the types of questions according to the cognitive levels in Barrett’s Taxonomy of reading comprehension; determining the frequencies of lower-order questions versus higher-order questions; identifying the questioning strategies employed by the teachers; and investigating teachers’ views on questioning. Using the Multiple Case Single Site Design, the study was conducted at one of the schools in Selayang with three English Language teachers of Form Four who were selected using the purposive sampling method. Observations were carried throughout five weeks followed by individual in-depth interviews. The objective of this research is to determine teacher’s understanding of the concept and teaching strategies of the Malay Literature Component in the Malay Languge subject. It was carried out in eleven secondary school in Larut, Matang and Selama district. The research includes hundred of teachers teaching the Malay Language subject. Out of the 100 respondents, 50 were lower secondary teachers and 50 were upper secondary teachers. The number of respondents according to gender are 21 male teachers and 79 female teachers. A survey was conducted to obtain data on teachers’ understanding of the concept and teaching strategies of the Malay Literature Component in the Malay Language subject. The purpose of this research is to identify the relation between factors and Malays language performance among the form four students. The data were collected through students attitude toward Malays language survey and a special Malays language test that was given to the students. This research entitled ‘Types of Greeting for Language Teaching’ is focused on pronouns and also addressitivity in the Malay Language. Even though, both of them have different functions, the pronouns can sometimes take the place of addressitivity. It happens due to the usage or pronouns is closely related to addressitivity, especially in the Malay Language. Besides that, this research has been carried out thoroughly by using the library and observation methods. Questions are set up carefully to produce accurate results. This text analysis study focused on the novel Kapten Hassan Wira Bangsa (KHWB) to survey and identify the value content in Kurikulum Bersepadu Sekolah Menengah (KBSM). This novel is published by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) in 2000 and penned by Harun Johari, a local author. It was chosen by a committee appointed by Pusat Perkembangan Kurikulum (PPK) after serious procedural selection as a text for literature component as it is filled with KBSM values. The purpose of the research is to study the differences in achievement based on gender in UPSR mathematic trial examinations. The items are grouped into 4 groups which are based on the topics of lesson, Bloom cognitive taxonomy levels, diagrams and person names used. The samples consist of year six students which are selected based on their performance which have been categoried into excellent, medium and low. Each category has 100 girls and 100 boys from 100 primary schools in Terengganu. The instrument used was UPSR trial’s examinations, mathematic paper 1 which contains 40 multiple choice items. The t-test (independent samples t-test)were used to test the hypotheses with significant level at 5 %.
