The optimisation of lipid and carbohydrate yields and productivity is important for enhancing microalgae biofuel production. This study aims to optimise the growth conditions of Tetradesmus obliquus UPSI-JRM02 for high lipid and carbohydrate production and to examine the synthesis of these biomolecules under nitrogen stress conditions. The optimisation study was carried out using response surface methodology with Design Expert software. Four variables (nitrogen concentration, temperature, pH, and light intensity) were optimised to enhance T. obliquus productivity. T. obliquus was then cultured in optimised conditions before being introduced in nitrogen stress condition to further increases the production of lipid and carbohydrate yields. The results indicated that the highest lipid (33 mg/L/day), carbohydrate (51 mg/L/day) and biomass (115 mg/L/day) productivity were produced at a nitrogen concentration of 400 mg/L NO3-at 36 oC with pH of 9.8, and light intensity of 23,500 lux. Kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengkaji kesan perlaksanaan kaedah Pengajaran Berasaskan Projek ke atas  motivasi dan strategi pembelajaran pelajar-pelajar yang berlainan kelas dari aliran sains tulen bagi subjek Biologi  tingkatan empat bagi subtopik enzim di daerah Tanah Merah, Kelantan. Satu modul pembelajaran PjBL telah dibina meliputi subtopik enzim. Modul ini adalah berpandukan kepada model yang dilaksanakan oleh Buck Institute of Education. Kajian ini melihat pencapaian akademik di kalangan kedua-dua kumpulan pelajar. This study aims to investigate the use of Community of Inquiry (CoI) based blended learning approach to enhance students_ Vocabulary Test Scores (VTS) and Vocabulary Learning Motivation (VLM) in Chinese secondary vocational EFL classroom. It utilized an explanatory sequential mixed methods approach and a quasi-experimental research design. A series of instruments including a Diagnostic Test, a researcher-developed Vocabulary pre-test and post-test, CoI and VLM questionnaires were employed to gather quantitative data while a semi-structured interview to gather qualitative data. A total of 86 first-year students at a Technician College with two campuses in Chongqing, China were allocated to an experimental group (n = 44) and a control group (n = 42) using a purposive sampling method. Kajian ini bermatlamat untuk membandingkan analisis regresi logistik dan pohon pengelasan dalam menentukan faktor bayi berat lahir rendah (BBLR) pada 7260 bayi yang ditempatkan di pusat rawatan rapi neonatal seperti yang telah didaftarkan dalam Malaysian National Neonatal Registry pada tahun 2006. Sampel yang dipilih adalah berdasarkan tiga etnik utama iaitu Melayu, Cina dan India. Kaedah analisis yang digunakan ialah dengan membandingkan keputusan yang diperoleh daripada kedua-dua kaedah yang digunakan iaitu analisis regresi logistik dan analisis pohon pengelasan. Analisis menunjukkan kedua-dua kaedah menghasilkan keputusan yang hampir sama di mana minggu gestasi adalah faktor utama kepada BBLR. Pohon pengelasan menunjukkan struktur biologi yang lebih baik berbanding regresi logistik. Walaubagaimanapun, hasil dari analisis regresi logistik mempunyai kepekaan yang lebih tinggi. Attitudes and motivation are two important elements in determining the achievement of students in their learning. These two aspects interact and influence each other and lacking either one of these aspects will contribute to poor achievement or performance of the students in their study. This study is aimed to find out the correlation between the students' attitudes and motivation with their achievement towards learning English as a second language. Along the line, this study also seeks to explore the students' level of attitudes and motivation as well as their learning preferences in the classroom. There are two purposes of this study. The first purpose is to discover the types of attitudes fostered by the Form Four students of a secondary school in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan towards learning English. The second purpose was to discover the existence of correlation between students' attitudes and their achievement in English. 164 Form Four students participated in this survey. A self-designed questionnaire was utilized to identify students' attitudes in learning English while their English achievement was based on their midyear examination results. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan keberkesanan kaedah pengajaran dan pembelajaran berasaskan modul dan web ke atas pencapaian guru-guru pelatih dalam mata pelajaran Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi. Komponen kemahiran Teknologi Maklumat yang dikaji adalah bagi topik Microsoft Excel. Seramai 144 orang pelajar KPLI dari IPG Kampus Ipoh terlibat dalam kajian ini. Data diperoleh daripada hasil ujian pra dan pasca serta borang soal selidik yang diedarkan. Kedua-dua borang soal selidik adalah untuk menilai kualiti modul dan web yang digunakan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kuantitatif melibatkan penggunaan statistik deskriptif dalam bentuk min, sisihan piawai, kekerapan dan peratusan.
