The initial years of a teacher’s career can determine their sustainability within the field of education. This research aims to investigate the challenges faced by the English Language novice teachers and the support received by the novice teachers to overcome the challenges. Moreover, this research also investigated how far teacher education prepares novice teachers in facing the challenges encountered in the first three years of the teaching profession. This research has adopted a mixed-method research design in which the data for the questionnaire were collected from 80 novice teachers and interviews from 5 novice teachers. The results indicated that the most frequent challenges encountered by the novice teachers were (1) workload challenges, (2) instructional challenges, and (3) social status and identity challenges. Water quality is essential for human health, environment, agriculture and more aspects related to human lives. This study aimed to evaluate the water quality in selected four rivers around Behrang catchments, Perak, Malaysia. Sampling was carried out from November 2017 to January 2018 in five stations twice a week to identify changes in water body. The study was implemented using in-situ parameters and water samples from the rivers to be tested in laboratory. Physicochemical parameters include temperature, conductivity (CND), total dissolved solids (TDS), dissolved oxygen (DO), potential of hydrogen (pH), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), ammonia-nitrogen (NH3-N), and suspended solids (SS). Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti ketakutan pelancong semasa acara hiburan di Kuala Lumpur iaitu Sambutan Ambang Tahun Baharu 2020 dan Tahun Melawat Malaysia. Kajian ini meneliti ruang yang difahami oleh pelancong sebagai menakutkan dan tidak selamat di kawasan pelancongan bandar Kuala Lumpur. Penyelidikan kualitatif ini menggunakan dua kaedah kajian iaitu temu bual dan photovoice. Temu bual separa berstruktur dijalankan bersama dua puluh dua (22) orang pelancong domestik dan antarabangsa. Tiga (3) orang peserta kajian bersetuju untuk melibatkan diri dalam photovoice dengan mengambil gambar perasaan takut mereka di ruang yang digunakan semasa menghadiri acara hiburan dengan menggunakan kamera pakai buang yang dibekalkan oleh pengkaji. Aquaculture has a vital function in ecology, environment, and economy. Without adequate monitoring and management, aquaculture might have negative environmental repercussions. In terms of managing and design the industry's long-term operations, it is necessary to map the distribution of aquaculture ponds. Aquaculture ponds can now be detected and mapped using remote sensing. A large-scale mapping can be performed fast due to the recent advancements in cloud computing and big data. In this study, 10 m Sentinel 2 images were used to classify aquaculture in Sungai Udang, Pulau Pinang. This study aims to compare three machine learning classifiers such as Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest (RF) and Classification and Regression Tree (CART) that available in the Google Earth Engine (GEE) cloud computing platform in mapping aquaculture ponds. Namun demikian, demi meneruskan kelangsungan hidup, masyarakat dataran banjir khususnya di Daerah Beaufort melakukan strategi adaptasi dengan harapan untuk membentuk daya tahan (resilience) ketika berhadapan dengan bencana tersebut. Understanding the changes of long-term rainfall is vital for water resources management and climate mitigation strategies development. This study aims to evaluate the annual, seasonal, and monthly rainfall trends of the northern region of Sri Lanka from 1970 to 2019. The Mann-Kendall and Sen's slope tests have been used to analyze the trend and magnitude changes, respectively. The results show that the historical annual rainfall of Northern Sri Lanka has increased from 18.76 mm/decade to 37.68 mm/decade from 1970 to 2019. As per the seasonal pattern, the rainfall of the northeast monsoon has been reduced, while South west Monsoon rainfall has increased gradually in the Northern Region of Sri Lanka. There are fluctuating patterns in the monthly rainfall pattern, and November dominates in the monthly rainfall pattern, receiving more than 350 mm as the average. Delft Island is one of the seven inhabited Islands of the Jaffna Peninsula. It has been prioritized for ecotourism development after the postwar scenario. Delft Island has unique features to promote ecotourism. However, there are several challenges faced by the relevant authorities during the development process. This study explores to identify the opportunities and challenges in the context of ecotourism development. In-depth semi-structured interviews among the executive level of a government officer, focus group discussions from the community-based organization, and field visits have been carried out to collect primary data. Thematic and qualitative descriptive analysis methods have been used to analyze the data. For several years, disaster-related studies have always focused on disaster preparedness and risk reduction efforts. Researchers also attribute disasters more to the context of society, even though schools are one of the most vulnerable places to catastrophe. Many schools are located in disaster-prone areas, and children spend most of their time in school. This study aims to identify strategies to improve disaster adaptation capacity in schools. This study used a database from Sciencedirect, Springerlink, Taylor & Francis, and Emerald with the keywords “adaptation”, “disaster”, “children”, “strategy”, and “school”. Perkara ini kerana suhu permukaan darat merupakan kunci penting yang menpengaruhi iklim, hidrologi, ekologi dan biokimia. Teknologi Penderiaan Jauh menawarkan pelbagai jenis satelit kepada penyelidik untuk mengkaji cuaca dan iklim.
