Abstract

Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti komponen dan elemen bagi membangunkan reka bentuk pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP) berasaskan Google Site bagi kursus landskap pembinaan di Politeknik Malaysia. Kajian ini merupakan kajian kuantitatif menggunakan kerangka TPACK dan di sokong oleh Teori Kognitif, Behaviorisme dan Konstruktivisme serta kajian-kajian lepas sebagai asas kepada pembentukan kerangka konseptual kajian. Data kajian ini di kumpul menggunakan kaedah borang soal selidik. Seramai 15 orang pakar sebagai responden kajian terdiri yang daripada pensyarah kolej komuniti, pensyarah politeknik, pakar industri dalam bidang landskap, pakar dalam iCT dan pakar bahasa yang telah menjawab soal selidik kajian. Kaedah Fuzzy Delphi dengan skala Likert 7 mata telah digunakan untuk menganalisa data kajian. Analisis Triangular Fuzzy Number menggunakan templat Analisis FDMv2.0 digunakan sebagai perisian. A framework for designing cultural and creative tourism products to enhance purchase intention among young adults in Henan

Henan Province is renowned for its rich intangible cultural heritage, yet the participation of young adults in traditional cultural consumption remains low. This study aims to develop and validate a design framework to enhance young adults' purchase intentions for cultural and creative tourism products in Henan Province. Through a systematic literature review, the researcher developed the CFI-MD design framework to investigate the relationships among cultural, functional, and interactive meanings in the design of cultural and creative tourism products. The study aims to investigate the relationship between the public's social media usage (SMU) and identification of local government image (ILGI) in Henan Province, China, and explore appropriate strategies to optimize local government image brand communication (GIBC) based on brand equity (BE) using government social media (GSM). This study used an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design. Firstly, in quantitative research stage, based on conceptual framework, this study developed a model with independent variable as SMU, dependent variable as ILGI, and mediator variables as social trust (ST) and social participation (SP), adapted from existing literatures to form the questionnaire. Analysis of essential oil phytochemicals and antioxidant activity from Piper xcrassipes korth ex miq

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the essential oil composition, phytochemicals, and antioxidant activity from the leaves of Piper crassipes. Essential oil was obtained from the leaves by hydrodistillation, and its chemical compositions was determined using gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Soxhlet extraction was performed for the leaves part, followed by isolation of phytochemicals using silica gel column chromatography. The chemical structures of isolated compounds were determined using spectral analysis (Infrared Spectroscopy, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy, and Mass Spectrometry) and comparison with literature data. Antioxidant activity was evaluated using the 2,2- diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging assay and total phenolic content. Pengetahuan Teknologi Pedagogi Kandungan guru Pendidikan Islam dalam amalan pengajaran Jawi sekolah kebangsaan di Malaysia

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menilai tahap Pengetahuan Teknologi Pedagogi Kandungan (PTPK) guru Pendidikan Islam (GPI) dalam pengajaran Jawi di sekolah kebangsaan seluruh Malaysia, di samping mengkaji hubungan antara PTPK dan amalan pengajaran GPI. Berdasarkan tinjauan terhadap 378 GPI yang dipilih melalui pensampelan rawak berlapis dan kelompok, dapatan menunjukkan bahawa GPI memiliki pandangan positif terhadap tahap keseluruhan PTPK, tetapi menunjukkan tahap sederhana dalam amalan pengajaran. Kajian ini juga mendedahkan perbezaan signifikan dalam PTPK berdasarkan faktor jantina dan infrastruktur, sementara faktor lokasi dan pengalaman mengajar tidak menunjukkan kesan ketara. Analisis korelasi mendapati hubungan positif dan signifikan antara setiap komponen PTPK terhadap amalan pengajaran guruguru Pendidikan Islam (GPI). Kajian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk memahami pembangunan kompetensi, amalan dan impak kepimpinan guru besar muda (GBML). Kajian kes tunggal ini dijalankan terhadap peserta kajian yang dipilih secara bertujuan, manakala informan yang terdiri daripada kalangan kakitangan GBML pula dipilih secara bebola salji. Protokol temu bual dibina daripada kerangka konseptual kajian yang diadaptasi daripada tiga teori iaitu Teori Kepimpinan Instruksional (Hallinger & Murphy, 1985), Teori Kepimpinan Distributif (Gordon, 2005) dan Teori Kepimpinan Transformasional (Slocum & Hellriegel, 2007). Kajian ini bertujuan mendapatkan kesan penggunaan aplikasi AGRONUTRI-X terhadap pencapaian akademik dan tahap penerimaan teknologi. Aplikasi AGRONUTRI-X dibangunkan berdasarkan kepada model ADDIE. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan reka bentuk kuasi eksperimen melibatkan 63 subjek kajian kumpulan kawalan (n=31) dan kumpulan rawatan (n=32). Instrumen ujian pencapaian akademik dan soal selidik penerimaan dan penggunaan aplikasi Mpembelajaran digunakan dalam kajian ini. Kesahan bagi kedua-dua instrumen kajian adalah menggunakan I-CVI. Kebolehpercayaan instrumen pencapaian akademik diukur menggunakan IRR dan statistik Cohen_s Kappa. Kebolehpercayaan instrumen soal selidik penerimaan dan penggunaan teknologi aplikasi M-pembelajaran diukur menggunakan pekali Cronbach_s Alpha _ = .926. Exploring government and community initiatives in rural primary schools in Huangzong China

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the educational standard in a primary school in rural Huangzhong. The objectives included investigating financial support and resource input initiatives implemented by the government and their alignment with government planning, identifying financial and resource input initiatives provided by the school and society including social and cultural values practised and developing a new integrated educational framework. Guided by Human Capital Theory, Resource-based Theory, and Social Capital Theory, the study used a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, document analysis, observation and analyzed manually. Seventeen participants were purposively selected, including 5 parents, 5 students, 4 teachers, and 3 school administrators. External factors internal factors and wellness tourists behavioural intention to underdeveloped regions in southern Shaanxi China

Abstract

The primary purpose of this study is to examine the impact of external factors (marketing mix, government influence, subjective norms) and internal factors (motivation, attitude, perceived behavioral control) on wellness tourists' intention in underdeveloped regions of Southern Shaanxi, China. This study adopted a quantitative research approach to test the proposed framework. Nine cities within and around Shaanxi Province were selected using probability sampling techniques, specifically multi-stage cluster sampling. Systematic sampling was employed to distribute electronic questionnaires, resulting in the collection of 508 valid responses. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling.
