Kesan penggunaan buku elektronik terhadap pencapaian elemen intonasi, ekspresi muka dan gaya penyampaian kemahiran bercerita dalam kalangan murid bahasa Tamil

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kesan e-buku cerita terhadap elemen intonasi, ekspresi muka dan gaya penyampaian kemahiran bercerita kanak-kanak. Kajian berbentuk kuantitatif ini dijalankan dalam kalangan murid sekolah jenis kebangsaan Tamil (SJKT) tahap dua yang berumur antara 10 hingga 12 tahun. Kumpulan murid sekolah dari dua buah sekolah jenis berkenaan yang berada di kawasan pedalaman di negeri Johor telah terpilih dan dibahagikan kepada kumpulan kawalan seramai 30 orang murid dan kumpulan rawatan seramai 30 murid lagi. Data kuantitatif berbentuk markah penilaian dikumpulkan melalui ujian bercerita pra dan ujian bercerita pasca. Hasil ujian-T terhadap min ujian bercerita bagi kedua-dua kumpulan menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan dalam kemahiran bercerita yang signifikan di dalam kumpulan rawatan berbanding kumpulan kawalan p > 0.05. Perkongsian maklumat peribadi di media sosial dan kaitannya dengan buli siber

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti tentang perkongsian maklumat peribadi pelajar di media sosial dengan kekekerapan menjadi mangsa buli dan kecenderungan menjadi pembuli siber. Kajian kuantitatif ini menggunakan reka bentuk kajian tinjauan soal-selidik. Soal selidik ini telah diubah suai daripada Che Hasniza Che Noh (2014). Sampel kajian adalah seramai 132 orang pelajar dari program Diploma Rangkaian Komputer dan Diploma Produksi Media Digital Kreatif di Kolej Profesional Mara Indera Mahkota (KPMIM), Pahang. Dapatan kajian dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif; kekerapan, peratusan, min, sisihan piawai dan indeks relatif serta statistik inferensi; ujian t sampel bebas dan ujian korelasi pearson. Kajian mendapati jenis maklumat peribadi yang kerap dikongsikan di media sosial oleh pelajar adalah gambar sendiri (70.5%), perkongsian minat (64.4%) dan tarikh lahir (51.5%). Kajian ini bertujuan menganalisis pendekatan didik hibur dalam pengajaran simpulan bahasa sekolah rendah. Objektif kajian terdiri daripada pertama mengenal pasti pendekatan didik hibur yang digunakan guru dalam pengajaran simpulan bahasa terhadap murid sekolah rendah, objektif kedua menghuraikan cabaran yang dihadapi guru ketika pelaksanaan pendekatan didik hibur dalam pengajaran simpulan bahasa terhadap murid sekolah rendah dan objektif ketiga menjelaskan kefahaman murid berkaitan topik simpulan bahasa berdasarkan Teori Relevans. Kajian bentuk kualitatif ini melibatkan seorang guru mata pelajaran bahasa Melayu dan 12 orang murid tahun lima disebuah sekolah rendah dalam negeri Selangor sebagai responden kajian. Data kajian diperoleh melalui kaedah kepustakaan, pemerhatian, temu bual dan analisis kandungan dokumen. Pengaruh Kompetensi 6C dalam Revolusi Perindustrian Keempat terhadap kepimpinan guru sekolah rendah TS25 di Daerah Marang Terengganu

Kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengenal pasti pengaruh antara Kompetensi 6C (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, Character, Citizenship) dalam Revolusi Perindustrian Keempat (4IR) terhadap amalan kepimpinan guru sekolah rendah yang terlibat dengan Program Transformasi Sekolah (TS25). Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif bersifat tinjauan. Populasi kajian terdiri daripada 399 orang guru di Daerah Marang, Terengganu dengan jumlah sampel seramai 196 orang responden dari sekolah yang tersenarai dalam Program TS25. Kajian ini menggunakan soal selidik kompetensi 6C adaptasi daripada New Pedagogies for Deep Learning (NPDL) dan soal selidik kepimpinan guru adaptasi daripada Teacher Leadership Self-Assessment (TLSA). Gender differences in students motivation and conceptual knowledge in Chemistry using technology-integrated formative assessment

This study examines the impact of gender and technology-integrated formative assessment on learning chemistry in general and chemical equilibrium in particular from the perspective of learning and motivation. To achieve the aforementioned objective, a quasi-experimental, non-equivalent, non-randomized pre-test and post-test research design was adopted. There were three groups in the study: two experimental and one comparative. The experimental groups implemented formative assessment (FA) and technology-integrated formative assessment (TIFA) strategies, whereas the comparison group used lecture style method. Two intact classes were chosen for treatment and one intact class was chosen for comparison groups using a random sampling technique. The Chemical Equilibrium Conceptual Test (CECT) and the Chemistry Motivational Questionnaire (CMQ), both adapted from the literature, were used to gather data. Malaysian education has undergone several changes since the implementation of Malaysia Education Blueprint (MEB) 2013-2025. The reformation of MEB has brought Common European Framework of References (CEFR) in Malaysian English Language Teaching (ELT). The implementation of CEFR was perceived as a great platform that can improve the standard of ELT in the country to be at the global standard. Realising this aspiration, the government proposed to relook and redevelop the proficiency among English language teachers. HistoGuide application is a smartphone application system used by sixth form students as virtual microscopy and slides to solve the problems of incorrect drawing and labelling, inability to apply magnification and scale, and inability to observe details in microscopic practical works. However, as a newly developed application, there are still many who do not understand the usability of the HistoGuide application. In building a good application, one important part is good usability. Usability testing, especially in the HistoGuide application, can show users' ease and efficiency in using the system. The authors try to use qualitative usability testing through observation, document analysis and interviews with four participants as a pilot study before a real study.
