The main aim of this study is to generate empirical data to show any common phenomena in the protective factors of youths with disabilities and if stigmatizing experiences influences subsequent interactions with protective factors. Protective factors are elements that are known through years of research to be crucial for the development and maintenance of resilience. This study is a mixed method research design. Eight respondents (4 males and 4 females) were selected based on two wide categories: visible and invisible disabilities. A bilingual 5 point Likert scale resiliency questionnaire was used on all respondents to measure the strengths of their 10 protective factors. Brislin back-translation method and factor analysis on an initial sample of 46 students was used to form the Malay version and to determine construct validity and reliability. Purpose of this case study is to explore the level of understanding of teachers in a secondary school in Gombak on the discipline management procedures based on the circulars issued out by the Ministry of Education starting from 1968 to 2010. Sampling for this study focuses on the procedure adapted for the enforcement of discipline by the four teachers who were directly involved in managing discipline in school. The study was done based on triangulation technique analysis of documents circulars relating to the management of discipline issued by the Ministry of Education, interviews, observation of the enforcement of disciplinary procedures and analysis of documents relating to the discipline management, and the finding was supported by the finding checklist of all teachers in the particular school. The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate the use of Simulation Through Weblog (SMW) in learning the topic of Movement of Substances Across the Plasma Membrane on the students’ achievement and interest. This study involved 60 students from a residential school in Perak which were divided into two groups. The treated group learned the topic of Movement of Substances Across the Plasma Membrane through the SMW while the control group learned the topic by the common method. The instruments used in this study were the pre test, post test and questionnaires for interest. The hypothesis test involved the use of the ANCOVA test and the Pearson correlation test. Result showed that there was no significant differences (p = .117) in the mean of the post test score between the treated group and the control group. The purposes of this study was to develop and to validate a model of metacognitive-based teaching and learning of mathematics and to analyze phases how to utilize student metacognitive in solving algebra problems. There are two phases in developing a model of metacognitive-based teaching and learning of mathematics. Phase 1 consists of four stages, namely: a) preliminary study, based on theoretical basis and previous studies; b) model planning, which consists of instrument planning and component of teaching and learning, and also a model book; c) realization; d) model validity, tryout, and refinement. The first purpose is to discover the types of attitudes fostered by the form four students of a secondary school in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan towards learning English. This study aims to analyze the homological functors of some torsion free crystallographic groups, namely Bieberbach groups, with symmetric point group of order six. The polycyclic presentations for these groups are constructed based on their matrix representations given by Crystallographic, Algorithms, and Tables package, followed by checking their consistency. The homological functors which include the nonabelian tensor square, the G-trivial subgroup of the nonabelian tensor square, the central subgroup of the nonabelian tensor square, the nonabelian exterior square, and the Schur multiplier are determined by using the computational method for polycyclic groups. The structures of the nonabelian tensor squares are explored and the generalization of the homological functors of these groups are developed up to n dimension. The objectives of this study are to synthesize novel chitosan-hydroxyapatite composites doped with strontium, magnesium and zinc via in situ co-precipitation method, to investigate the bioactivity, cytotoxicity and antimicrobial properties of the materials. Physicochemical properties of the products obtained were analysed by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential thermal analysis (DTA), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). The calcium release from the samples in simulated body fluid (SBF) were measured using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS).
