This research was carried out to determine the level of academic learning time (motor), to compare the academic learning time between male students and female students, and to identify the relationship between students’ academic learning time and skill achievement in Physical Education. This research was conducted in a few secondary schools in the Kulai district, with the total sample of 18 students, comprised of nine male and nine female form 2 students. The methodology used was the observation method, based on time interval. This method was pioneered by Siedentop, Birdwell and Metzler (1979) and modified by Julismah (2000). It was found from the research that, the academic learning time of the entire sample observed is at a low level, which is 35.48%. Also from the findings, it is noticeable that the female students have higher mastery level at 39.05%, as compared to only 31.66% by the male students. The purpose of this project is to develop a guaranteed quality of service management systems for multimedia network based on mobile agent. The system which is built as an e-Learning kit consists of a computer software for video streaming Lecture-on-Demand (LoD) via internet with guaranteed quality of service. A number of research methodologies and design have been employed to develop this product. A survey was conducted to increase the validity of the instrument utilized; while a system analysis was used to gather information on quality of service for multimedia network over internet. This case study aimed at exploring the use of blog in helping ESL student to express ideas. The study investigated the participants’ responses, perceptions and feelings while and after engaging in blogging, and providing and receiving comments. A class of 30 ESL students participated in this study. Topics were given every week for eight consecutive weeks. Participants were free to log on to the blogs. Data from the blog content and self assessment rubrics were collected concurrently with the study. At the end of the study, participants answered questionnaire. Semi-structure interviews were conducted. Data were coded with initial coding, followed by focused coding. Data from the four sources were triangulated. Three major themes emerged from the study. On the basis of my own teaching experience and literature review, it was shown that many students were not able to master concepts of chemistry particularly in the topic of heat of combustion and they are less interested in this subject. Research findings also indicate that students rarely interact nor willing to assist friends during lesson. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of jigsaw cooperative teaching method on four dependent variables, namely (1) students’ understanding of concepts in chemistry particularly in the topic of heat of combustion; (2) interest in chemistry; (3) level of interaction during lesson; and (4) attitudes toward assisting friends during lesson. This Self-Regulated Learning research was conducted to profile and analyze motivational aspects and learning strategies of science students in Malaysia. An improved instrument in Bahasa Melayu called The Motivation Strategies of Learning Questionnaire-Revised or ‘MSLQ-R’ was developed for this purpose. This instrument was adapted from Motivation Strategies of Learning Questionnaire ‘MSLQ’ developed by Pintrich et al., (1991). The Cronbach alpha values for the first pilot study were 0.817 for motivation and 0.922 for the learning strategies. In the second pilot study the aspect of motivation had a value of 0.894 the while learning strategies was 0.927. Both pilot studies revealed a high internal reliability of the instrument. The findings showed that the mean score of motivation (5.34) is higher than the mean score for the learning strategies (4.55). Kajian ini bertujuan mengenal pasti kesan penggunaan buku bersiri Luqman Al-Hakim melalui teknik penceritaan terhadap pembentukan nilai akidah dalam kalangan kanak-kanak prasekolah. Tiga aspek perlakuan yang difokuskan ialah nilai beriman, bersyukur dan pembalasan. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kuasi eksperimental melibatkan ujian, pemerhatian dan temu bual. Subjek kajian terdiri daripada 40 orang kanak-kanak prasekolah berumur enam tahun yang terdiri daripada dua buah kelas di sebuah tadika. Subjek kajian dibahagikan kepada dua kumpulan yang terdiri daripada satu kumpulan kawalan dan satu kumpulan rawatan. Kajian telah dijalankan selama enam minggu meliputi pemerhatian, ujian pra dan ujian pos serta proses penceritaan menggunakan buku bersiri Luqman Al-Hakim. The purpose of this research was to develop learning portal for students of Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Sultan Mizan Besut Terengganu and to determine the portal’s effectiveness and quality based on the theory of constructivism. The portal was developed using open source software, “moodle” as a platform. All the teaching materials used in the portal were developed by the researcher. The study used quasi experimental design to determine the effectivenes of the portal. A sample of 83 respondents of the Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Sultan Mizan’s Semester 1 Ijazah Sarjana Muda Perguruan Preparatory Programme (PPISMP) July 2008 took part in the study. The t-test show that the measure of the post test result of the experimental group was higher than the control group (t (136)= 6.03, p=.00).
