Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk membangunkan aplikasi pembelajaran berasaskan permainan (PBPDT) bagi topik Kebarangkalian Mudah dan kesannya terhadap pencapaian murid tingkatan dua. Penyelidikan ini menggunakan pendekatan penyelidikan reka bentuk dan pembangunan (PRP). Kajian ini dijalankan dalam tiga fasa. Fasa pertama adalah fasa analisis keperluan. Fasa ini menggunakan soal selidik yang diedarkan kepada 500 orang murid tingkatan dua untuk memantau keperluan pembangunan aplikasi PBPDT. Data soal selidik yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan perisian IBM SPSS Statistics versi 23 menunjukkan bahawa terdapat keperluan kepada pembangunan aplikasi PBPDT dimana minat murid terhadap permainan dalam talian adalah sederhana dengan nilai min 3.382. Kajian ini bertujuan menjelaskan potensi busking sebagai aktiviti pengayaan bagi mengembangkan kemahiran persembahan muzik berdasarkan lapan komponen pendekatan kontekstual. Terdapat dua objektif kajian iaitu mengenal pasti kemahiran persembahan muzik yang dapat diperkembangkan melalui aktiviti busking dari aspek muzikal dan bukan muzikal seterusnya menjelaskan potensi busking sebagai aktiviti pengayaan bagi mengembangkan kemahiran persembahan muzik berdasarkan lapan komponen pendekatan kontekstual. This study aimed to develop and determine the usability of Geometrical Optics Learning Module (GOLeM) towards Physics Matriculation students. The GOLeM was developed using ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) model and this module had been validated by seven experts. This research used a questionnaire to evaluate the usability of the developed module. The research sample consisted of 186 students that was selected through cluster random sampling from an accessible population of 359 Physics Module II students in Perak Matriculation College. The research instrument was usability questionnaire that was used to measure the students’ perceptions towards the usability of the module. In this article, we seek to examine ways in which educators can bring music of world cultures into classrooms of children in a respectful, sensitive manner. Myriad issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the center of the conversation among music educators across the globe. As educators are committed to issues of globaliation, social justice, and cultural democracy, we intend here to discuss World Music Pedagogy (WMP) as a means of fostering children’s musical and cultural awareness in embracing both local and global communities. These involve careful considerations, as WMP is a multi-dimensional learning process that recognises the importance of deep and reflective listening as gateway to knowing the music in order to participate in it, to perform it, to create new works within the style of the studied music, and to know its cultural meaning, context, and function. This article provides three case studies of the use of world music resources to build alien worlds in mainstream screen media with Sci-Fi or Fantasy settings. The case studies—the TV series Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome, the film Avatar and the Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) video game World of Warcraft— show how composers and associated music professionals in the early twenty-first century increasingly draw on such sonic materials to generate a rich sense of sonic otherness and note the means they employ to sidestep such music’s existing geographical and cultural references. The leadership of the Javanese gamelan is handled by a panjak juru kendhang (kendhang player). Although this player is the leader of this ensemble, his function is distinct from that of a conductor in a Western symphony orchestra.Psychological studies on leadership in music have examined the function of conductors in Western symphony orchestras. However, leadership in gamelan ensembles have yet to be explored. This study aims to examine leadership in Javanese gamelan ensembles. Kajian ini ialah bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesan interaksi tahap realistik karakter animasi talking-head dua dimensi (2D) dengan ekspresi wajah positif terhadap emosi pelajar. Tiga tahap realistik yang digunakan ialah ikonik, semi-ikonik dan realistik. Manakala, dua ekspresi wajah positif yang digunakan ialah ekspresi senyum dan ekspresi neutral bagi setiap tahap realistik. Secara terperinci, enam prototaip animasi talking-head bagi paparan di skrin besar telah dibangunkan dan diuji. Reka bentuk eksperimen kuasi digunakan bagi menjawab persoalan-persoalan kajian yang dibina. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 180 orang pelajar dari enam kelas di tiga buah politeknik. Managing self-regulated strategies while learning a piece of music is a complex task for undergraduate music students—at various levels of experience playing instruments—studying applied music courses. This study investigates music notation software as a visual-aural model to students’ effective practice. Twenty students of stringed instruments at levels I, II, III, and IV of an applied music course offered by the music faculty of a Malaysian university participated in this quantitative study, which was implemented using a self-report questionnaire. The results reveal that regardless of the student’s level in the applied music course, music notation software has a positive effect on students’ self-regulation practice strategies aimed at improving their shortcomings (including matching intonations and using proper phrasings, rhythmic patterns, and tempo speeds). Organizations are increasingly under pressure to shift their production methods from traditional to sustainable, reinforcing the requirement to monitor their sustainability performance. The slow performance growth of Malaysian manufacturing companies remains a concern. The goal of this research is to highlighted the measurement used in the Malaysian SME context. Data were collected using survey method. A survey method was employed to collect a total of 1,071 responses in SME firms using proportional stratified sample technique. Using statistical packages for the social sciences (SPSS) version 27, this research focused on data validity and reliability. Findings of factor analysis confirmed 3 factors for the ICT adoption variable, were formed while 1 factor for the innovation variable, 4 factors for the competitiveness variable and 1 factor for the business performance. This paper presents the potential of various play activities in developing learner’s musical sensitivity and creativity. The K to12 music education curriculum guide of the Philippine Department of Education advocates the use of experiential learning and outcome-based learning in the classroom. One of the ways in which these methodologies can be promoted is by engaging learners in various play activities. However, there is a lack of literature showing the impact of such methodologies on Filipino learners.
