Kajian ini dijalankan untuk meneroka pembelajaran pelajar Orang Asli ketika Pandemik Covid-19. Objektif kajian ini adalah untuk mengenal pasti proses pembelajaran pelajar orang asli ketika pandemik, mengenal pasti masalah pembelajaran yang dihadapi oleh pelajar orang asli ketika pandemik covid-19 dan mengenal pasti cabaran yang dihadapi oleh pelajar Orang Asli sepanjang pembelajaran dari rumah. Kajian ini berbentuk kualitattif kajian kes yang menggunakan kaedah temubual melibatkan tiga orang pelajar Orang Asli dari suku Semai dan Temiar di sebuah sekolah menengah di negeri Perak dan dua orang guru sebagai sokongan dapatan. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat lapan tema yang dikenal pasti iaitu fasiliti pembelajaran, faktor persekitaran, faktor pelajar, psikologikal, PDPR segerak dan tak segerak, teknik pengajaran guru, sokongan pembelajaran dan kualiti pembelajaran. This study aims to investigate the molecular epidemiology and risk factors of Entamoeba histolytica, Entamoeba dispar, and Entamoeba moshkovskii infection among Orang Asli school children in Perak. Stool samples were collected from 544 school children and the DNA extracted were amplified using nested multiplex PCR. The univariate and multivariate regression analyses were then used to determine the risk factor associated with Entamoeba species infection. The overall prevalence of Entamoeba complex infections was 21.3% (116/544). The total of school children infected with E. moshkovskii was 10.7% (58/544) followed by 9.0% (49/544) of E. dispar and 5.0% (27/544) of E. histolytica. One sample was positive for the mixed E. histolytica and E. dispar infection, five samples were positive for the mixed E. histolytica and E. moshkovskii infection, and 12 samples were positive for the mixed E. dispar and E. moshkovskii infection. Keperluan komponen kecergasan adalah berbeza bergantung kepada jenis sukan yang dipraktikkan. Tujuan kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengenalpasti komponen kecergasan dominan bagi pemain sepak takraw wanita elit. Kajian ini menggunakan dua kaedah analisis iaitu melalui rakaman video perlawanan dan pengukuran prestasi countermovement jump (CMJ) pemain. Analisis rakaman video dilakukan terhadap perlawanan sepak takraw semasa Sukan SEA 2019 melibatkan empat buah negara. Manakala pengukuran prestasi CMJ pemain melibatkan lapan orang pemain wanita elit SUKMA Perak. Analisis dilakukan untuk mendapatkan jumlah ulangan penggunaan komponen kecergasan yang dilakukan semasa pertandingan manakala pengukuran prestasi CMJ dilakukan untuk mendapatkan profil daya-halaju pemain. This study aimed to detect the secondary metabolites and chemical components in the freeze-dried extract of Ottochloa nodosa (Kunth) Dandy. In addition, discovering the extract could have potential as a bacterial inhibitor by determination of the minimum inhibition concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) carried out in extracts. Determination of antimicrobial potential of freeze-dried extracts was conducted through phytochemical screening, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) test, agar disc diffusion and broth dilution methods. The study shows this extract has bacterial inhibitors’ potential since it contained phytochemical compounds such as alkaloid, saponin, flavonoid and tannin, while 9 chemical components have been displayed through GC-MS analysis. The disc diffusion method was done at different concentrations, at 25, 50 and 100 mg/ml. The result also shows that the extracts are able to inhibit the gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Urbanization is rapidly expanding, and many forests are being cleared. The loss of crucial ecological functions, including dispersal and pollination, in urban settings can have detrimental effects on individual species and the sustainability of entire ecosystems. Nevertheless, how urbanization affects seed dispersal is still largely unexplored. Hence, this study aimed to investigate the association between plant dispersal mode and urbanization intensity in Ipoh City Council, Perak. The percentage of built-up area within a 1km2 area was measured using ArcGIS software to establish the urbanization gradient. Zingiber zerumbet (L.) Roscoe ex Sm. is a herbaceous medicinal plant from the Zingiberaceae family. Previous studies have mainly focused on the essential oils of the plant with little attention to its secondary metabolites. LCMS-Orbitrap is used to analyze ethanolic extract of Z. zerumbet rhizome. Dereplication is a technique applied to identify chemical constituents based on their accurate mass and comparison with custom databases, Dictionary of Natural Products (DNP), and literature using an operating system named MZmine 2.53. A drastic increase in healthcare demand has come from the explosive growth of the older population. The elderly are, on average, more vulnerable to health problems than other age groups. Unpredictable events, such as sudden falls, can be avoided with proper monitoring. Activity recognition can help people avoid potentially dangerous behaviours by aiding in the detection of unexpected events. Most of the existing approaches require complex sensors and environment setup, involve data filtering and noise removal steps, and most often the chosen learning models need to be tuned and carefully designed for optimal performance. This study aims to investigate the level of green chemistry knowledge, awareness, and practices among university students. This study also aims to analyze the relationship between green chemistry knowledge and awareness, green chemistry knowledge and practices, and also green chemistry awareness and green chemistry practices. This study employed survey as research design, and data was collected by distributing the questionnaires to 392 university students in Kuala Lumpur and Tanjung Malim by using the 44-questions questionnaire, which consists of 16 multiple-choice questions for green chemistry knowledge construct, and 14 questions which uses 5-point Likert scale questions for green chemistry awareness and practices respectively.
