Alsailawi, Hasan Ali
Background: Crabs have been reported as a high exporter of protein and contains great nutritional value. Objective: It is necessary to identify the allergens and the cross-reactivity concerning the mud crab Scylla tranquebarica, shellfish, and mollusks for control of food safety and to facilitate in the identification and treatment of symptoms related to allergy. Methods: IgE extracted of serum from five patients who suffered from anaphylaxis due to crab and five healthy patients. It was taken for analysis via immunoblotting against 11 different crustaceans and molluscs. Results: Based on the analysis, the sera from the patients had responded specifically to a 38-kDa protein in all the crustaceans and molluscs, and it is known as tropomyosin. In certain absorption studies, the 38-kDa protein had exhibited to be the immunodominant epitopes among all crustaceans and molluscs. Sera from all five subjects with Scylla tranquebarica allergy showed IgE reactivates against crabs, prawns, and m.....

Magnesium layered hydroxide-3-(4-methoxyphenyl) propionate modified single-walled carbon nanotubes as sensor for simultaneous determination of bisphenol A and uric acid
Rahadian Zainul
A facile electrochemical sensor based on single-walled carbon nanotubes/magnesium layered hydroxide-3-(4-methoxyphenyl) propionate nanocomposites paste electrode (MWCNT/MLH-MPP) for determination of bisphenol A (BPA) and uric acid (UA) was constructed in this study. According to experiments, several parameters affecting the electroanalytical responses of the prepared electrode were optimised, such as amount of modifier, square wave voltammetry parameters, and pH effect. Under optimum experimental conditions, electrochemical current of BPA and UA oxidation were linearly proportional to the concentrations from 3.0 ? 10?7 M to 1.0 ? 10?4 M and 1.0 ? 10?7 M to 1.0 ? 10?4 M for BPA and UA respectively with the both limit of detection of 5.0 ? 10?8 M. The small percentage of relative peak currents changes with added some interference indicated that the modified electrode can be used for the determination of BPA and UA in real samples such as baby teether and urine. ? 2021. Machine learning-based imputation soft computing approach for large missing scale and non-reference data imputation
Alamoodi, Abdullah Hussein
Missing data is a common problem in real-world data sets and it is amongst the most complex topics in computer science and many other research domains. The common ways to cope with missing values are either by elimination or imputation depending of the volume of the missing data and its distribution nature. It becomes imperative to come up with new imputation approaches along with efficient algorithms. Though most existing imputation methods focus on a moderate amount of missing data, imputation for high missing rates over 80% is still important but challenging. Even with the existence of some works in addressing high missing volume issue, they mostly rely on imputing reference dataset (Complete Datasets for evaluation) after they create artificial missing values and impute it to measure the accuracy of their proposed techniques. So far, the option of imputing high proportions of missing values with no reference comparison dataset (Original Dataset with highly missing values) have been.....

Lower extremities' kinematic sequence and kinetics during first pull in classic snatch
Ali Md Nadzalan
The primary purpose of this study was to identify and compare the lower extremities' kinematic joints initiation sequence during the first pull phase of the classic snatch among male and female elite weightlifting athletes. As the secondary purpose, the maximal angle extension of joints, sub-phase duration, joint angular displacement and velocity, barbell velocity and the ground reaction force produced during the classic snatch sub-phases were determined and compared between genders. Six men (age: 19.92.29 years, height: 1.670.04 m, and body mass: 87.962.68 kg) and six women (age: 19.721.35 years, height: 1.550.42 m, and body mass: 70.2510.78 kg) were tested for 85% of their 1 repetition classical snatch movement. Kinematics were captured at 100 Hz using a Qualisys motion capture system with eight cameras, and markers were placed bilaterally on the hips, knees and ankle joints. Kinetics were captured using the Kistler fixed force plate. The results revealed that a sig.....

Low-carbon tourism approach as an alternative form for tourism development: a review for model development
Fauziah Che Leh
The tourism industry is a major contributor to the gross domestic product of several countries, including Malaysia. However, recent tourism growth has led to increase the industry's carbon dioxide (CO2). Low-carbon tourism, therefore, needs to be introduced to the sector to help curb global climate change. A comprehensive understanding of low-carbon tourism needs to be developed to achieve this goal. This article looks at the relevant studies in the literature using content analysis. By adopting a qualitative methodology, the article collected and assessed measurements of tourism's carbon emissions and examined the effects of implementing a low-carbon tourism programme. Some of the low-carbon strategies were listed by going through the entire implementation process of low-carbon tourism as an alternative form of tourism development. The discussion also focuses on how Covid-19 can influence low-carbon tourism development. A blueprint for a low-carbon recovery proposed by the Organisatio.....
