The main purpose of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) is to eradicate illiteracy among out of school children, youths and adults who are school dropouts and to those who are deprived of education in order to complete elementary and secondary education outside the formal school system. Thus, this study was designed to determine the level of implementation of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) in the Schools Division of Isabela. It utilized the descriptive-correlational method involving fourteen (14) districts. The main instrument for data collection is the survey questionnaire while weighted mean, Mann-Whitney U-test and Kruskal-Wallis Htest were carried out to answer the research objectives of the study. The airfield site at Kelanang in Selangor, Malaysia was operated during World War II under the Japanese Occupation. During that time, it was noted for its air force surveillance centre which protected the area from Port Swettenham or previously known as Port Klang to Port Dickson. It also acted as a military logistics that planned and carried out the movement, supply, and maintenance of military forces to sustenance Morib area. Currently, this historical structure and its remains have no longer exist. The area has now been transformed to a palm oil plantation. As time goes by, this airfield has been forgotten and invisible to our young generation. The purpose of this study is to analyze macroeconomic, non-macroeconomic and financial sector development (FSD) factors that influence migrant workers’ remittances in the selected Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. An augmentedgravity model was employed as the theoretical framework and econometric methods were used to examine the relationships between macroeconomics (Gross Domestic Product (GDP), exchange rates, and inflation rates), non-macroeconomics (borders, cultural and history, partner countries, distances, and language) and FSD factors(credit to private sector (CPS) and openness to trade (OT)) towards remittances. Kertas konsep ini adalah bertujan untuk memberi panduan kepada pembangun aplikasi multimedia berkenaan reka letak dan susun atur kandungan bagi sesebuah aplikasi untuk membaca bagi MBK. Masalah dadah dan jenayah merupakan masalah yang membimbangkan banyak pihak kerana ia menggugat kesejahteraan, keharmonian dan keselamatan negara dan masyarakat. Masalah ini sejak dari dahulu sering dikaitkan dengan bangsa Melayu berbanding dengan bangsa-bangsa yang lain. Oleh itu kajian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti profil, pengalaman menggunakan dadah dan jenayah dalam kalangan banduan Melayu. Kajian dijalankan dengan menggunakan reka bentuk kuantitatif secara tinjauan keratan-lintang (crosssectional survey). Seramai 301 orang banduan Melayu yang terlibat dengan kes dadah dan sedang menjalani pemulihan dan tahanan di Jabatan Penjara Malaysia telah dipilih sebagai responden kajian. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti tahap afektif warganegara digital dalam kalangan mahasiswa Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris berdasarkan konsep Hormat (Respect), Didik (Educate) dan Lindung (Protect) atau lebih dikenali sebagai konsep REP. Kajian ini melibatkan seramai 500 orang mahasiswa dari sembilan buah fakulti yang berbeza. Instrumen soal selidik berskala Likert 1 hingga 5 digunakan untuk mendapatkan maklum balas. Pemboleh ubah afektif warganegara digital yang dikaji terdiri daripada tiga sub pemboleh ubah iaitu afektif menghormati diri dan orang lain, afektif mendidik diri dan orang lain, serta afektif melindungi diri dan orang lain. Hasil kajian mendapati tahap afektif warganegara digital mahasiwa adalah tinggi iaitu nilai min 4.46 dengan sisihan piawaian 0.43. Dari segi kumpulan umur, belia merupakan golongan yang paling tinggi menggunakan media baharu ini. Namun, bagaimanakah golongan belia ini menggunakan media baharu bagi tujuan politik? Oleh itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk menilai penggunaan media baharu bagi aktiviti politik dalam kalangan belia di Selangor. Khususnya, artikel ini meneliti aktiviti politik menerusi media baharu, tahap penggunaan media baharu bagi aktiviti politik, dan hubungan di antara faktor demografi dan penggunaan media baharu bagi aktiviti politik. This study focused on teachers’ pedagogical practices as an index to students learning outcomes. It catered to five key problems, such as assessing the students on their teacher’s knowledge and delivery of the lessons, which was confirmed positively by a majority of the students-respondents. Aligned with this is on teachers’ method and strategies and the ability to convert lessons into productive outcomes evidenced by the responses where the majority were positive responses. There were areas of difficulties confirmed, foremost of which were teachers’ lack of focus on the nature of the problems, which responded in the follow–up interview was overcome by considering the conduct of a rigid interviews and exercises. Reading comprehension is an essential interdisciplinary skill that serves as a foundation of all other subject areas. In science, as a subject rich in vocabulary words, the learner's ability to read and comprehend to generate a conceptual understanding cannot be set aside. Thus, integrating literacy strategies such as vocabulary instruction strategies in teaching the subject is of great help to the learners. This quasi-experimental research determined the effect of integrating explicit vocabulary instruction strategy in the conceptual understanding of students in science. The global pandemic of Covid-19 has affected the teaching and learning of the STCW courses (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) which witnessed the drastic move from normal faceto- face facilitation to full online and distance learning (ODL). This new paradigm shift has resulted in significant changes as well as immense challenges to students who experienced this crisis for the first time. Hence, the study aims to discover students’ motivation level in adapting to the new environment of online learning as experienced by semester 2 students in Maritime English classes via quantitative study adopted Keller’s ARCS Model of Motivation survey administered on 78 respondents. The data collected were analysed and the results showed high level of students’ motivation despite having to undergo challenges in online distance learning during the MCO.
