Kertas kerja ini bertujuan untuk memberikan maklumat yang jelas secara teoretikal dalam disiplin seni catan tentang apresiasi seni ke atas karya Siri Dungun berunsurkan tradisional Melayu menerusi pemikiran etnomatematik. Fokus utama kajian adalah mengkaji faktor yang menyokong perhubungan antara aspek formalistik seni bagi menghuraikan konsep simetri yang wujud melalui keindahan reka bentuk corak dalam karya catan yang menampilkan imej-imej tradisional Melayu. The purpose of this action research is to develop the pupils’ music reading skills through a Kodály-based approach. The pupils were facing difficulties in reading music notations, which is acquired in current Year 4 music curriculum of Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah (KSSR). This study was conducted in a government Chinese primary school in Selangor, Malaysia. A total of 32 pupils from Year 4 were selected to participate in the research. The Year 4 music curriculum from KSSR was used with the adaptation of Kodály based-approach in this study. Concurrently, singing activities using solfege, Chinese children folk songs, games, and colored notations were applied in developing the pupils’ music reading skills. This action research was based on the model by Zuber-Skerritt where the cycle of plan, act, observe and reflect were used in the main cycles followed by the refined cycles. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan meneliti unsur adab dan tatacara kehidupan orang Melayu terdahulu yang terdapat dalam teks Hikayat Hang Tuah. Objektif kajian adalah untuk menerangkan definisi adab dan peradaban dalam konteks yang sebenar, mengenal pasti jenis amalan adab yang wujud dalam teks Hikayat Hang Tuah dan menganalisis kesan amalan adab yang dicapai dalam hikayat tersebut. Pengkaji memilih menggunakan teori kajian budaya (culturul studies theory) sebagai asas analisis dalam kajian ini. Teori ini mengkaji tindakan manusia dalam membentuk masyarakatnya. Dapatan kajian mendapati banyak unsur adab dalam kalangan masyarakat Melayu lama yang wujud dalam hikayat tersebut. Unsur adab tersebut merangkumi adab dalam aspek sosial, ekonomi dan politik. Selain daripada unsur adab, kesan pengamalan adab kepada empayar kesultanan Melayu Melaka juga diambil sebagai hasil dapatan kajian. Lately, the research on human emotion has attracted the interest of several disciplines, including computer science, cognitive science, and psychology. As such, the aim of study was to examine the effects of binaural beats music on depression disorders. This study was conducted based on an experimental design in which electroencephalography (EEG) was utilized to capture brain signals. The EEGlab toolbox of Matlab was used to extract the relevant features of the brain signals. For feature filtering, brain signals were filtered by using ‘Butterworth 5th order’. EEG signals were then converted from the time to the frequency domain by utilizing Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). A sample of 90 depressive participants was exposed to binaural beats music. One-way ANOVA was used to compare the differences in the effects based on three different time intervals, which were labelled as before listening, during listening, and after listening phases. This study was conducted to examine the relationship of promotional mix on customer choice to enroll at tuition centers in Tanjung Malim district. The population in this study were the parents who sent their children to the five selected tuition centers. The sample consisted of 127 parents as respondents to answers the questionnaires. There were four dimensions; advertising, public relation, sales promotion and direct marketing being analysed to identify the relationship toward the customer choice of tuition centers. Around 300 structured questionnaires containing 26 items were distributed to the respondents. In this research, respondents were chosen randomly from students who attend tuition classes around Tanjung Malim by using a simple random sampling method. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk menentukan hubungan antara motivasi dengan pencapaian akademik dan penerimaan pelajar dalam pembelajaran kursus Computer Preventive Maintenance terhadap m-pembelajaran di kolej vokasional. Dalam kajian ini, Teori Keazaman Kendiri dan Model Penerimaan UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) telah digunakan untuk mengukur motivasi pelajar dan menguji tahap penerimaan pelajar terhadap penggunaan teknologi baharu, masing-masing. Inclusive Education Program for pupils with Special Needs is the current national agenda that is being solidified in the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025 and supported by Zero Reject Policy beginning January 2019. The School In Hospital strives to provide formal education through fun learning approach to students receiving treatment at 15 hospitals throughout the nation. The School In Hospital (SIH) Sabah Women and Children’s Hospital (SWACH) has a Volunteer Program in which NGOs and CSR initiatives could participate in. Examining the impact of the volunteer program is crucial to ensure that the volunteer activities are in line with the mission of the school. This will also provide the school with information that will be useful for future improvements in the volunteer program. Thematic analysis was done on the volunteers’ reflective writing in the volunteer task sheet and on the teachers’ focus group interview.
