The research investigates the effects of cooperative learning strategy to ameliorate Malaysian ESL students’ speaking skills. It is not an uncommon issue that ESL/EFL (English as Second/Foreign Language) students face some difficulties to interact fluently in English language, in fact, it is a problem faced by students not only in Malaysia but around the world. The Malaysian Education Ministry is working deliberately on increasing students’ English language proficiency in order to unlock all sort of doors for students to excel in their future endeavors. In order to improve ESL students’ speaking skills, an appropriate strategy is crucial in teaching-learning process. This paper also investigates of the ESL students towards cooperative learning and their motivation towards speaking skills. In recent years, the development of nanoparticle materials for water treatment has received great attention. From an industrial technological view point, the application of nanomaterials in the twenty-first century for water treatment will be the focal point of advanced materials design, processing and progress. In this context, the potential utilisation of different types of flocculants to clean up contaminated water becomes important to address the tremendous increase of water pollution resulting from continued high-level global industrialisation. Calixarene is a vase-like supramolecule structure with many useful characteristics. For several decades, many studies have been conducted about the characteristics of calixarene that can be applied in fields such as material science, biotechnology and nanosensors. The Langmuir–Blodgett (LB) technique is a powerful method in obtaining a homogenous monolayer or several layers of thin film by controlling the molecular orientation on the air–water surface. Novel characteristics of calixarene have been discovered in applications such as sensing material, water treatment and catalysts. Calixarene also has the ability to form a stable complex with biomolecules, making it able to be developed as a biosensor. Student-athletes who are enrolled at the undergraduate level in higher educational institutions in Malaysia have the challenge of raising their academic achievement. Preliminary survey shows that nearly 40 percent of student-athletes have cumulative grade point average (CGPA) below 3.00. This study aimed to develop an academic enhancement support framework for student-athletes in Malaysian Public Universities. Problems, in order to improve academic achievement among student-athletes, are due to factors of academic factor that do not support the improvement of academic achievement student-athletes during their study sessions. This  study aimed  to  determine  the  effectiveness  of  Language  Intervention  Program (LIP)  for  Indigenous  Peoples  (IP)  learners  with  speaking difficulties  in  English.  Its  objectives  were  to:  (1)  identify  speaking  difficulties  of  IP  learners  in  English;  (2)  discover   factors   affecting   these   speaking   difficulties;   and   (3)   design,   develop,  implement,   assess   and   Language   Intervention   Program   (LIP)   that   addresses  aforementioned  problems  based  from  Social  Learning  Theory.  Qualitative  research design  was   utilised  through  a  case  study  of  five  selected  Grade  2  IP  learners,  five parents and  one teacher at Echague, Isabela, Philippines. This research aimed to propose a framework based on the multi-criteria analysis to aid decision-makers in selecting suitable software programmer applicants. In this study, an experiment  was conducted on the basis of several stages. First, decision matrix was proposed for selecting  suitable programming applicants based on multi-measurement criteria   (structured   programming,    object-oriented   programming,   data   structure, database system, and courseware engineering),  with each criterion comprising two sub- criteria  (GPA  and  Soft  skills).  In  addition,  a   number of  alternatives  were  generated based on the intersection of the criteria of the  applicants. Tujuan   utama   kajian   ini   ialah   untuk   menilai   pelaksanaan   Program   Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran matematik Sekolah Dasar. Empat objektif kajian  iaitu (a). Mengenal pasti visi dan misi, asas undang-undang dan hala tuju penerapan PPK, (b).  Mengenal pasti latar belakang guru, sikap guru, peranan ibu bapa   dan   prasarana   sekolah    penyokong   pelaksanaan   PPK,   (c).   Mengenal   pasti rancangan, pelaksanaan dan halangan  pelaksanaan PPK) dan (d). Kajian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengkaji  strategi  Parti  Komunis  Malaya  (PKM)  dalam melakukan pemberontakan bersenjata di Semenanjung Tanah Melayu bermula tahun 1968  hingga  1989.   Kajian  ini  juga  menilai  cabaran  dan  tekanan  yang  dihadapi pengganas komunis oleh pasukan  keselamatan sepanjang melakukan pemberontakan bersenjata. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan reka bentuk  kajian dokumen dan kajian kes telah digunakan dalam kajian ini. The study prime motive was to identify factors that encourage learners to be motivated to continue to learn Mandarin. Campbell and Storch (2011) guiding questionnaire was adapted through the interview sessions among 11 Mandarin level two learners of different grades at one of the universities in Kelantan. The learners were interviewed in person in Bahasa Malaysia. The interview sessions were audio recorded and transcribed verbatim and translated into English. The inquiry revealed that non-native Mandarin learners were motivated to continue to learn Mandarin due to the importance of Mandarin in the aspect of employability, self-interest and improving Mandarin grade. The study gives insight to teachers to plan their teaching to match with the learners’ demands that are related to their future career building, hence the learning must consider real life situation. Kertas kerja ini bertujuan mengenal pasti tahap tingkah laku kepimpinan transformasi di sekolah rendah luar bandar. Soal selidik model kepimpinan transformasi telah digunakan untuk menentukan tahap dimensi tingkah laku kepimpinan transformasi. Soal selidik ini mengandungi empat dimensi yang terdiri daripada Pengaruh Ideal Tingkahlaku, Pertimbangan Individu, Motivasi Berinspirasi dan Stimulasi Intelek. Seramai 209 guru sebagai responden dari sembilan sekolah terlibat dalam kajian ini. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif iaitu skor min dan sisihan piawai. Datapan kajian menunjukkan skor min dimensi pengaruh ideal tingkah laku (4.22), pertimbangan individu (3.76), motivasi berinspirasi (4.24) dan stimulasi intelek (4.02) berada pada tahap tinggi. Penemuan kajian ini menyokong keputusan kajian sebelum ini yang menunjukkan setiap organisasi yang ingin berubah memerlukan pemimpin yang boleh membawa perubahan yang dikehendaki.
