Most students need to improve their writing skills. Writing can be challenging. Process writing  approach can help students to develop the ability to explore new ideas through writing. During  process writing activities, students are given ample time to write, think and analyse their  narrative writing and they will be able to express ideas in new ways. The process writing does not  merely provide language exercise for the writers but gives them a chance to be adventurous with the  language as well. The outcome of this study proved that there was improvement in the students' writing scores after  the implementation of the process writing approach. The outcome of the study also showed that there  was improvement in the organization of the narrative essays and linguistics used in the narrative  essays after the process writing activities. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti tahap penglibatan murid tingkatan empat sekolah menengah di Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur dalam proses pembelajaran melalui kaedah Pembelajaran Hibrid Serentak (PHS). Selain itu, kajian ini juga berhasrat untuk menentukan pengaruh kawalan kendiri, interaksi pengajaran dan interaksi sosial terhadap penglibatan murid serta peramal terpenting ke atas penglibatan murid. Metodologi kajian yang digunakan ialah kaedah kajian tinjauan. Pengumpulan data bagi kajian ini adalah melalui edaran soal selidik kepada 350 orang murid tingkatan empat sekolah menengah di Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (WPKL) yang mempunyai pengalaman dalam PHS. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan skor min tahap penglibatan ialah sebanyak 3.40, iaitu berada pada tahap sederhana. The ability to solve problems is an important and integral part of learning Mathematics. Teaching students to use Heuristic Problem-Solving strategies can help them become expert problem solvers and assist them in transferring and applying their contextual knowledge to novel problems and situations. It is on this background that this study examines the effects of Heuristic Problem-Solving strategies on students’ achievement in and retention in Mathematics in Ogun State, Nigeria. The research used quantitative and quasi-experimental design. A total of eighty students from two public secondary classes participated in the study. Three hypotheses guided the study. Mathematics Achievement Test (MAT) was used as an instrument to collect data. The reliability coefficient of MAT is 0.82. Data was analysed using independent t-test analysis. Growing scallion plants using organic farming is one of the healthy ways that reduce agrochemicals. One of the interesting problems in organic farming is the right amount of fertilizer that maximizes the growth and yield of plants. This study intended to evaluate the growth of scallions (Allium fistulosum L.) using eggshells and wood ashes as organic fertilizer. It aims to assess and determine the optimal fertilizer material combination that is compatible with the growth performance of scallions using eggshells and wood ashes. Four different treatment combinations were considered in this study as follows: T1 (consisting of 100% garden soil), T2 (consisting of 75% garden soil, 25% wood ash), T3 (consisting of 75% garden soil and 25% eggshells) and T4 (consisting of 70% garden soil, 15% wood ash, and 15% eggshells). Academic engagement has been a persistent problem and potentially more harmful to the future well-being of the educational system in Nigeria, as students show low turnout in achievement. Therefore, this study investigated behavioural, emotional and cognitive engagements as predictors of Mathematics achievement in senior secondary school. A descriptive survey research approach was used for the investigation. Sample used in the research comprised 1680 senior secondary school 2 (SS2) offering Mathematics from the twenty one randomly selected schools in the three local government areas of Ogun State's Remo division using purposive and simple random sampling technique. Solanum hirtum (Solanaceae) has been used in traditional medicine to heal several illnesses, it’s worked as an antiseptic for sore throat and other diseases. The present study describes the phytochemical profiles, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties of S. hirtum fruits. The phytochemicals from the dried fruits were extracted using a maceration technique with methanol and the flash column chromatography with n-hexane, dichloromethane, and methanol was the selected means to fraction the extract. The phytochemical screening was implemented using standard chemical tests. The antibacterial and antioxidant activities were screened using the disc diffusion method, and analyzing the radical scavenging activity using 2,2´-diphenyl-1-picryhydrazyl (DPPH), respectively, whilst the total phenolic content was measured using the Folin-Ciocalteu method. The mastery of reading and writing plays a pivotal role in an individual's personal growth and is intrinsically linked to the acquisition of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills—a critical facet of a child's language development. This study conducts a systematic review of reading strategies utilized in promoting reading proficiency among preschoolers. The study meticulously explores reputable databases, including Google Scholar, Web of Science, and Scopus for reliable research papers. The review followed PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines. This search yielded a total of 63 relevant articles published between 2008 and 2022.
