1621 | 2023 thesis | Tri-dimensional relationship between lean, perceived service quality and patient satisfaction in public lean hospitals Malaysia Ng, Annie Cheng San The aim of the study is to examine the tri-dimensional relationship between Lean,
perceived service quality, and patient satisfaction in public Lean hospitals, in Malaysia.
This study employs quantitative approach to collect feedback from 48 public Lean
hospitals in Malaysia. Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling was employed to
investigate the proposed measurement model and structural model. The findings showed
that overall synergic effects of Lean practices particularly in the Strategy and alignment,
Behaviour and engagement, and Process management have significant and positive
relationship with perceived service quality. Additionally, perceived service quality has
been found to have significant and positive relationship with patient satisfaction. However,
none of the Lean practices has a significant impact on patient satisfaction. Such weak direct
relationship between Lean and patient satisfaction is due to the lack of mediating effect
contribution. Hence, med..... 290 hits |

1624 | 2022 article | The role of senior leader team on the formative assessment practices among primary school teachers in Petaling Nadiah Jahidin Formative assessment has become a most discussed topic when many countries recognized the importance of assessment for learning in enhancing students’ holistic development. Most of the times, teachers are not quite clear with the differences between assessment of learning and assessment for learning. In Malaysia, teachers still feel uncomfortable with the implementation of formative assessment compared to summative assessment due to the heavy workload to prepare the tests by themselves. Hence, this study was conducted to examine the role of leaders and how the leader’s role was associated with teachers’ formative assessment practices in schools. An online questionnaire was administered to a total of 198 randomly selected teachers from 25 public primary schools in Petaling. A descriptive correlational research design was employed to identify the relationship between these two variables. The findings indicated that there was a moderately strong linear relationship between the role ..... 102 hits |
1625 | 2022 article | The effectiveness of the guided inquiry learning model and jigsaw towards students\' Natural Science Outcomes in Grade 4 Elementary school Gugus Pangeran Diponegoro, Demak District Fika Kurnia Dewi The results of this study are: 1) the guided inquiry learning model is more effective than the conventional model on the science learning outcomes of grade IV students on the material properties of light in the Prince Diponegoro Cluster, Demak District, as evidenced by the t-test, namely the t-hit value of 4.722. Because the value of t-hit > t-tab (4.722 >2.005) means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so hypothesis 1 is accepted, 2) the jigsaw learning model is more effective than the conventional model on the science learning outcomes of fourth grade students on the material properties of light in the Prince Diponegoro Group, Demak District, as evidenced by the t test, namely the t-hit value of 5.572. Because the value of t-hit > t-tab ((5.572 >2.018) means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, hypothesis 2 is accepted, 3) the jigsaw learning model is more effective than guided inquiry on the science learning outcomes of fourth graders on the material properties of light in the Pri..... 194 hits |
