Systematic literature review on digital courseware usage in Geography subjects for Secondary School Students

Rapid technological advances are having an impact on the field of education. Multimedia courseware is a widely used option to help facilitate teaching and learning in the classroom. A large selection of courseware that covers many learning topics makes it easier for teachers to use it. The use of courseware that includes multimedia elements such as text, images, audio, and video, to some extent, can attract students and help their understanding process, in addition to its easy access on various platforms. Pembelajaran berasaskan permainan bagi kursus asas pengaturcaraan ketahui sikap dan minat pelajar

Kursus Asas Pengaturcaraan merupakan salah satu kursus yang mencabar dan sukar serta kompleks bagi pelajar Kolej Komuniti yang mengikuti program Sijil Sistem Komputer dan Rangkaian. Dalam kursus ini, pelajar perlu mengetahui konsep dan struktur asas serta syntax asas pengaturcaraan komputer. Cabarannya adalah pelajar didapati kurang berminat dengan pembelajaran secara teori sekaligus mengakibatkan kesukaran dalam menghasilkan kod aturcara bagi menyelesaikan masalah pengaturcaraan yang mudah. Tingkah laku devian dalam kalangan pelajar tingkatan 4 di SMK Melugu Sri Aman, Sarawak

Tujuan kajian ini dijalankan adalah untuk mengenal pasti permasalahan tingkah laku devian yang berlaku di kalangan pelajar di salah sebuah sekolah di daerah di Sarawak iaitu Daerah Sri Aman. Kajian ini adalah berbentuk kajian kualitatif deskriptif dan responden kajian ini adalah seramai 6 orang guru dan 8 orang pelajar yang terpilih sebagai sampeL Soalan temu bual digunakan sebagai instrumen kajian. Soalan temu bual yang diedar mengandungi 21 item, namun penyelidik hanya lebih memfokuskan kepada jenis-jenis tingkah laku devian pelajar di dalam kelas, punca-punca berlakunya tingkah laku devian peiajar di dalam kelas, dan strategi yang perlu dikenal pasti oleh guru untuk menangani masalah tingkah laku devian di dalam kelas semasa pdp. Cabaran mata pelajaran sejarah adalah kaedah pengajaran dan pembelajaran, kelaziman guru menggunakan kaedah ceramah atau ceramah bervariasi. Membangunkan keupayaan penguasaan pelajar dalam mata pelajaran ini merupakan satu cabaran utama yang dihadapi oleh guru. Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kesan mnemonik visual yang dibangunkan berdasarkan kepada teknik imageri iaitu pengintegrasikan kata kekunci dengan imej atau objek terhadap pengekalan ingatan jangka panjang bagi mata pelajaran Sejarah tingkatan satu. Kajian ini dijalan secara ekperimen dengan satu kumpulan. Seramai 24 pelajar terlibat dalam kajian ini. Many beginners struggle with the abstract nature of these courses, resulting in high failure rates. Mastering programming languages is incredibly challenging for non-computer science students, as the subject can be unfamiliar and complex. The abstract concepts and problem-solving skills required in programming pose significant hurdles for newcomers. A digital literacy predictive model in the context of distance education

Digital technologies are essential in the distance education environment. Several learners who enroll in distance education programs have difficulty using the technologies during the learning sessions. This study focuses on factors influencing digital literacy in distance education programs. A predictive model was developed based on four phases of the study; preliminary study, dataset preparation, experimental design, and analysis. For this study, 232 survey data were successfully collected. The experimental design has two phases, including data pre-processing and feature selection. - The target class is defined based on the device used and the generation. Five machine learning algorithms have been selected for the classifier model in the data analysis phase. They are logistic regression as a baseline model, k‐nearest neighbour, random forest, support vector machine (SVM), and multilayer perceptron. A gender and industry-responsive curriculum model for technical-vocational teacher education program

The study aimed to determine the gender and industry-practice gaps in the Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (TVTEd) program and fill these gaps through a curriculum model to make TVTEd gender and industry-responsive. The study used a mixed method approach where quantitative and qualitative data were utilized to develop the curriculum model. Phase 1 is quantitative descriptive research that focuses on the adequacy and usefulness of the pedagogical and technical skills of the curriculum using the lenses of TVTEd graduates and their supervisors. Phases 2 is a literature review that mapped the gender and industry-practice gaps in TVET. Phase 3 is a qualitative case study research focused on identifying the emerging gender issues constraining gender-responsive curriculum practices. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membangunkan Modul Pentaksiran Pendidikan Kesihatan (MoPPK) Tahun Empat Sekolah Rendah di Malaysia. Kajian ini melibatkan tiga fasa, iaitu Fasa Analisis Keperluan, Fasa Reka Bentuk dan Pembangunan, dan Fasa Pelaksanaan dengan berpandukan model ADDIE (Rossett, 1987). Metodologi yang digunakan bagi fasa analisis keperluan adalah kajian tinjauan bagi melihat amalan pentaksiran dalam kalangan guru Pendidikan Kesihatan sekolah rendah. Manakala bagi fasa kedua pula, seramai 30 orang pakar telah dipilih untuk melengkapkan soal selidik bagi proses kesahan dan kebolehpercyaan modul. Reka bentuk bagi fasa penilaian adalah kajian kes sekali yang melibatkan 194 orang murid tahun empat dan 12 orang guru Pendidikan Kesihatan di beberapa daerah di negeri Pulau Pinang.
