Classroom-based assessment (CBA) is applied in the education system in Malaysia. It substitutes the public examination system at primary school level and holistically gives prominence to summative and formative assessment. This case study examined the intended objectives of CBA in relation to its actual impact on bottom 40 (B40) income group pre-school and primary school students, identifying the effectiveness and challenges of CBA implementation and highlighting the barriers that hinder its success in achieving educational goals. In-depth interviews were conducted with 13 participants selected from a quota sample to gather data. The interview findings were analyzed to form themes and were confirmed by experts through a Cohen Kappa index of 0.803. The findings regarding the effectiveness of CBA showed that CBA is a holistic assessment for B40 students, especially students who are weak in learning, as it encompasses a comprehensive learning and continuous assessment. The main objective of this study is to examine the Islamic and Malay elements that are acculturated in the Dabus dance ritual of Perak, Malaysia. The focused group of this study is the Dabus of Tanjung Bidara village, estimated to have been established since the 1818s. However, throughout that time, the perception of the Malay community has not been strong yet, specifically regarding the ritual relationship of the Dabus dance with Islamic values. In fact, not infrequently, Dabus dance rituals are seen as contradicting the values of Islam itself. It is even seen over as skewed by some of the Malay community. However, in terms of history, meaning, practice, and ritual function, the Dabus dance itself cannot be separated from Islam. The study was designed as a field study. In Malaysian secondary education, typically only academically able students with learning disabilities and acceptable behaviour join mainstream classrooms for full inclusion. Social participation at school is one key indicator of inclusive education outcomes. Most Malaysian mainstream classrooms group students into small fixed peer-seating groups. This group could represent one support for social participation available to students with learning disabilities (LD) in inclusion classrooms. However, nothing is currently known about the views and experiences of social participation from the perspective of Malaysian students with LD or about the support provided by their peer-seating group in mainstream classrooms. This study explores the usage of e-learning via an interactive blog in assisting student_s morphology mastery and sentence construction in the Spanish language. Data presented in this study were gathered through 1) interviews with fifteen (15) students between 20 and 23 years old, who were registered in Spanish Communication Level 1 at Sultan Idris Education University, Malaysia, 2) questionnaire involving 45 students about the effectiveness of the blog as an e-learning platform, and 3) analysis of writing activities and evaluations in the blog and the classroom. The data were analysed using the descriptive-qualitative approach and supported by quantitative data. The findings indicated that the blog was viewed positively as a learning platform that provided out-of-classroom opportunities to learn the Spanish language. Effective learning is crucial for helping young people gain knowledge, skills, and overall development. This study aims to identify key factors necessary for effective learning in rehabilitation schools for juveniles. A constructivist grounded theory (CGT) approach was employed to gain a deeper understanding. Fifteen teachers, three administrators, and five education experts participated in the study using purposive sampling. Data was collected via in-depth interviews with these participants. The thematic analysis revealed four main themes essential for effective learning among juveniles: teachers (qualifications, teaching methods, and attitudes), juveniles (emotions and interest in learning), rehabilitation schools (administrator support and learning facilities), and community (support from families and assistance from governmental and non-governmental organizations). The emergence of digitalisation focusing on media literacy is becoming more prevalent and thus forcing educators to embrace innovations as our digital natives are now shifting their attention to digital technologies. This study aimed to develop and measure an assessment instrument for media literacy focusing on knowledge, skills, and values for digital natives in Malaysia. Adopting the digital intelligence (DQ) framework, we have constructed the assessment instrument relevant to our digital natives of secondary school students and distributed it across schools in eleven states and one Federal Territory of Malaysia. Strokes are a significant health problem because they often lead to long-term disabilities due to delayed diagnoses and insufficient information about the disease. The use of artificial intelligence (AI), specifically machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL), has the potential to aid in stroke diagnosis and significantly advance healthcare. This review article critically examines predictive methods for ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes. The preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) method was used to identify 79 relevant articles from five databases spanning 2012 to 2022, with IEEE having the highest number of articles and citations.
