The ability to solve problems is an important and integral part of learning Mathematics. Teaching students to use Heuristic Problem-Solving strategies can help them become expert problem solvers and assist them in transferring and applying their contextual knowledge to novel problems and situations. It is on this background that this study examines the effects of Heuristic Problem-Solving strategies on students’ achievement in and retention in Mathematics in Ogun State, Nigeria. The research used quantitative and quasi-experimental design. A total of eighty students from two public secondary classes participated in the study. Three hypotheses guided the study. Mathematics Achievement Test (MAT) was used as an instrument to collect data. The reliability coefficient of MAT is 0.82. Data was analysed using independent t-test analysis. Growing scallion plants using organic farming is one of the healthy ways that reduce agrochemicals. One of the interesting problems in organic farming is the right amount of fertilizer that maximizes the growth and yield of plants. This study intended to evaluate the growth of scallions (Allium fistulosum L.) using eggshells and wood ashes as organic fertilizer. It aims to assess and determine the optimal fertilizer material combination that is compatible with the growth performance of scallions using eggshells and wood ashes. Academic engagement has been a persistent problem and potentially more harmful to the future well-being of the educational system in Nigeria, as students show low turnout in achievement. Therefore, this study investigated behavioural, emotional and cognitive engagements as predictors of Mathematics achievement in senior secondary school. A descriptive survey research approach was used for the investigation. Sample used in the research comprised 1680 senior secondary school 2 (SS2) offering Mathematics from the twenty one randomly selected schools in the three local government areas of Ogun State's Remo division using purposive and simple random sampling technique. Solanum hirtum (Solanaceae) has been used in traditional medicine to heal several illnesses, it’s worked as an antiseptic for sore throat and other diseases. The present study describes the phytochemical profiles, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties of S. hirtum fruits. The phytochemicals from the dried fruits were extracted using a maceration technique with methanol and the flash column chromatography with n-hexane, dichloromethane, and methanol was the selected means to fraction the extract. The phytochemical screening was implemented using standard chemical tests. This study conducts a systematic review of reading strategies utilized in promoting reading proficiency among preschoolers. The study meticulously explores reputable databases, including Google Scholar, Web of Science, and Scopus for reliable research papers. This study investigated the influence of implementing a Flipped Classroom model integrated with Loop Game activities on students’ learning outcomes in Economics Threshold Concepts. The study employs a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test format. A systematic sampling technique was used to select a sample of 12 schools from the four zones in Lagos State Education District V, using three schools from each zone. Intact classes of year two senior secondary school students were used in each sampled school. The study raised two research questions and tested one hypothesis at a 0.05 level of significance. Results indicated that the application of the Flipped Classroom model combined with Loop Game activities significantly improves learning outcomes in Economics Threshold Concepts.
