3831 | 2022 Thesis | The use of adaptive technology among visually impaired students at Malaysian tertiary institutions Chow, Sak Chin The purpose of this qualitative study is to explore, describe, and interpret the
experiences of students at tertiary education with visual impairments in using adaptive
technology particularly Digital Electronic Textbooks (DETB) with Screen Reading
Programmes (SRP) to assist learning. This is a qualitative study which involves the
methods of interview and observation. A total of six participants between the ages of
18 to 30 from tertiary institutions are selected. Findings show six emergence themes,
types of vision loss, the types of adaptive technology used, awareness of adaptive
technology, support from university administrators and parents, the benefits and
disadvantages of adaptive technology. functionality of adaptive technologies,
awareness of knowledge, support from parents, university administrators and lecturers,
and direct benefits may influence visually impaired students’ preference in adopting

The main objective of this study was to determine the effect of teaching aids Main Kit Game Language Book Alphabet of the performance of special needs students in the subject of Bahasa Melayu. This study uses the ADDIE Model and Delphi techniques. This study involved 10 MBK with learning difficulties and 10 specialist teachers. Anxieties are part of a child’s developmental milestone. When a child goes to school for the first time, mixed emotions are present. It might be exciting but fear is normal too. This study aimed to identify the separation anxiety level of Kindergarten Pupils of Sultan Kudarat, Philippines as well as the symptoms of separation anxiety in terms of cognitive, psychophysiological and behavioural conditions among kindergartens. The study employed a quasi-experimental research design to study the effectiveness of the JERM Program. Respondents were classified as controlled and experimental groups. measure to acute training load accumulated over the weeks, during a competitive
period among Malaysia Rugby (MR) players. Twenty-eight (n=28) elite Malaysia
Rugby 15's players completed eight-weeks training program [six weeks of intensive
training (IT) and two weeks of reduced training (RT)]. During the process, Bronco
speed-endurance test were administered at before (TO), after (T1), and after the RT
(T2) phase. The session’s Rating of Perceived Exertion (SRPE) was used to quantify
the perceived training load and strain during each training session. Wellness
questionnaire was used to determine player's daily wellness level. Results showed that
higher Acute-Chronic Workload Ratio (ACWR) during first and second week of
training, and slightly reduced before entering pre competition phase and its followings

By using a quantitative approach, a questionnaire instrument was constructed and adapted from previous studies that focused on Mathematics teachers in Miri secondary schools as a sample of this study. The research outcome showed that Mathematics teachers have a high level of knowledge in 21st century learning. The application of 21st century learning for cognitive aspect, affective and psychomotor is at a moderate-high level. The statistical analysis one-way ANOVA shows that teachers' understanding of 21st century learning based on teacher's age was found to be insignificant at the value of F (df = 3, 90) = 1.060, p> 0.05 while for teachers' understanding of 21st century learning based on teachers' experience in teaching Mathematics was also not significant at F (df = 4, 89) = 1.931, p> 0.05. programs are linked to positive psychological outcomes, including mental
toughness. However, there are very limited studies conducted on how to design a
specific instrument and model of the adventure-based mental toughness program.
There are three primary objectives of study as follows: 1) determine whether there is a
significant need to develop an Adventure-based Mental Toughness Inventory (AbMTI);
2) to validate the consensus on the development of AbMTI; and 3) to validate the
AbMTI and Adventure-based Mental Toughness Model (AbMTM). The study is based
