Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dengan lebih dekat sosialisasi kesenian visual masyarakat suku kaum Jah Hut melalui pendekatan kebudayaan. Objektif kajian ini adalah untuk mengenal pasti serta meneliti setiap fungsi dan proses sosialisasi kesenian visual yang berlaku. Melalui objektif ini juga, perilaku yang terbentuk daripada proses sosialisasi dapat dikemukakan dengan hasil kerja lapangan yang dijalankan. Kesenian yang ada merupakan salah satu seni warisan turun temurun serta satu keperluan kehidupan kepada mereka. Pendekatan kualitatif melalui kajian kes ini menerangkan secara deskriptif sosialisasi kesenian visual melalui pendekatan kebudayaan mereka. Batasan kajian ini merujuk kepada kawasan kajian yang hanya dijalankan di kawasan perkampungan masyarakat suku kaum Jah Hut yang terdapat di Jerantut dan Temerloh. Hubungan antara elemen-elemen metakognisi dengan pencapaian akademik murid sekolah menengah luar bandar

Kajian ini bertujuan mengenal pasti tahap kesedaran metakognisi dan pencapaian akademik murid sekolah menengah luar bandar. Kajian ini juga bertujuan mengenal pasti hubungan antara elemen-elemen kesedaran metakognisi dengan pencapaian akademik murid sekolah menengah luar bandar. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan reka bentuk kajian tinjauan dan melibatkan seramai 210 orang murid Tingkatan Empat dari empat buah sekolah menengah luar bandar di daerah Daro, Sarawak yang telah dipilih secara rawak berstrata. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam kajian ini ialah Inventori Kesedaran Metakognisi (MAI) yang dibangunkan oleh Schraw dan Dennison pada tahun 1994 yang terdiri daripada 52 item untuk mengkaji elemen-elemen metakognisi iaitu pengetahuan deklaratif, pengetahuan prosedural, pengetahuan kondisional, perancangan, strategi pengurusan maklumat, pemantauan kefahaman, strategi debugging dan penilaian. Kajian ini adalah untuk mengetengahkan penggiat seni ukiran kayu kontemporari iaitu Abd. Muhaimin Bin Hasbollah yang telah banyak memberi sumbangan dalam mengharumkan nama negara. Ia juga dapat dijadikan sebagai satu bahan rujukan ilmiah kepada peminat seni ukiran kayu tanah air yang ingin mengenali dengan lebih dekat serta mengkaji keunikan yang terdapat dalam ukirannya. Selain itu, kajian ini juga penting demi kelangsungan seni ukiran kayu kontemporari oleh generasi akan datang serta dapat mengetengahkan keistimewaan ukirannya kepada bakat-bakat baru dalam bidang seni ukiran kayu agar mereka menjadikan beliau teladan dan juga sumber rujukan. Hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi dan tekanan belajar dengan pencapaian akademik dalam kalangan murid sekolah menengah

Kajian ini bertujuan mengkaji hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi dan tekanan belajar dengan pencapaian akademik dalam kalangan murid sekolah menengah. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Seramai 285 orang murid Tingkatan Empat dari sepuluh buah sekolah menengah di daerah Tampin dipilih sebagai responden melalui persampelan rawak mudah. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah soal selidik kecerdasan emosi (SSKE) yang telah diubahsuai oleh Abdul Malek dan soal selidik tekanan 3SQ yang dibina oleh Muhamad Saiful Bahri. Data dianalisis melalui statistik deskriptif dan inferensi seperti frekuensi, peratusan, min, sisihan piawai, ujian t dan korelasi pearson. Hasil kajian menunjukkan tahap kecerdasan emosi murid berada pada tahap yang tinggi dan tahap tekanan belajar adalah sederhana. A study of music performance self-efficacy amongst students participating in music festivals

The purpose of this study is to look into the students’ music performance self-efficacy who performed in the music festivals in Malay Gamelan and Wind Orchestra categories. All the four sources of self-efficacy in Bandura’s social cognitive theory which are 1) mastery experiences; 2) vicarious experiences; 3) verbal or social persuasion; and 4) physiological state were investigated. A survey method using Music Performance Self- Efficacy Scale (MPSES) by Zelenak (2011) was used. The data collected were then administered using descriptive analysis of mean to identify the highest to the lowest on the sources of self-efficacy. 150 Malaysian secondary school music students aged 14- 17 participated and completed the 30-item questionnaire online. The results shown that among the four sources of self-efficacy; mastery experiences had the highest mean (M = 4.23 on a 5-point scale). Whilst, the physiological state had the least mean (M = 3.85). Factors that influence learning opportunities of participants in regular courses

Purpose – The objective of this research is to assess the correlation between the independent variables i.e., conduct of course, relationship between facilitators, content and materials with course supervisors, facilities and support service, personal beliefs, learning opportunity of the participants and their learning opportunity. Methodology – This study employs a longitudinal research comprising 582 from a total of 645 participants from fiscal year 2010/2011 to fiscal year 2019/2020. The sampling method used in this research is quota sampling. Findings - The findings of this research concluded that there is a significant relationship between the variables and the learning opportunities of the participants. Additionally, there are 3 factors that influence the learning opportunity for participants which are the conduct of course, content and materials, and personal beliefs while the other three factors were not affected. The study was conducted to obtain the validity and reliability of the health education assessment module needs analysis instrument among Kedah primary school teachers. This study aims to determine the need to develop a health education assessment module among primary school teachers who teach Health Education. The study uses design and development methods but has three phases. The technique is said to be multiple methods that can use any suitable form for specific phases. For the needs analysis phase, the researchers have used quantitative methods that have used questionnaires for data collection. The questionnaires were certified by one expert from the Malay Language working in a teacher education institute and three experts in the relevant fields of Health Education. Validity and reliability of Students Mathematical Process Rubric (Prom3) based on many-Facet Rasch Model (MRFM).

The objective of this research was to determine the validity of Students’ Mathematical Process Rubric (ProM3) using Many-Facet Rasch Model (MFRM). The data were gathered from 7 raters marking 188 scripts of Form 1 students from a number of boarding schools in the middle and northern zone of Malaysia. ProM3 Rubric was used to analyse students’ responses in problem solving and reflective writing tasks for 29 criteria, that is in five dimensions of the mathematical process, namely connection, representation, communication, reasoning and problem solving. MFRM was used to analyse the data to look into three facets; student ability, rater severity and item difficulty. The findings indicated that the accurate index measuring students’ ability facet was between -3.48 until 4.71 logit, raters’ severity facet between -0.59 until 0.74 logit, and items/criteria’s difficulty facet at -2.38 (problem identifying) until 1.45 (quantitative reasoning) logit. The Uda and Dara theatre script is based on the outcome of Usman Awang's observation on Malay society life, especially in the newly independent era. Since the beginning, they have taken the process to improve social development. The choices of language and determination of the characters used by Usman Awang reflect any ideas and strong critical thinking on Malay society, humanity facts that were colonized and defeated either by the real colonizers or the Malay elite themselves. Thus, it is believed that through Uda and Dara, Usman Awang fought for a social statement that was contrary to the noble values that were believed in, namely the Malays who developed social, cultural, economic, and political origins based on Islamic values. Usability evaluation of a Virtual Reality Interactive Music Appreciation Module (E-Marz) for Secondary School

Advancement in Virtual Reality (VR) technology can be benefited for educational purposes. This article reports on a study undertaken to evaluate the usability of a Virtual Reality (VR) Interactive Music Appreciation Module (E-Marz) for the Lower Secondary School. The study has employed the Design and Development Research (DDR) which comprised of three different phases as its methodology. E-Marz was developed systematically based on the m-ADDIE Model which include the Evaluation Phase. The objective of the evaluation phase was to measure the level of usability of the module by using the System Usability Scale Questionnaire given to the field experts and the Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire given to students as the end users. The findings of the evaluation phase showed that E-Marz had obtained a high level of usability based on the expert views and the surveys on students as end users.
