| 7616 | 2018 Thesis | Amalan penggunaan air secara lestari : kajian kes dalam kalangan pelajar tingkatan empat di daerah Kinta Utara, Perak Uma Mariapan Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tahap, hubungan serta sumbangan antara pemboleh ubah pengetahuan, nilai, kemahiran, sikap terhadap amalan penggunaan air secara lestari dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah menengah di daerah Kinta Utara, Perak. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan reka bentuk tinjauan serta soal selidik telah digunakan dalam kajian ini. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 420 orang pelajar Tingkatan 4 dengan menggunakan teknik pensampelan rawak mudah manakala pemilihan sampel sekolah adalah secara rawak berstrata. Analisis deskriptif (min, peratus) dan analisis inferensi (ujian-t, korelasi Pearson, regresi linear) digunakan untuk menjawab setiap persoalan kajian. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan tahap pengetahuan (M=3.97, SP=.48), nilai (M=4.16, SP=.65), sikap (M=3.99, SP=.58) berada pada tahap tinggi manakala amalan penggunaan air (M=3.58 dan SP=.52) berada pada tahap sederhana. | 7617 | 2017 Thesis | Faktor mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi dalam pelaksanaan 5S: satu kajian tinjauan di Kolej Vokasional Negeri Selangor Norwahidah Alias Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan menguji faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi komitmen tenaga pengajar di Kolej Vokasional di Negeri Selangor dalam pelaksanaan 5S. Amalan 5S melibatkan aktiviti (i) Sisih - Seiri, (ii) Susun - Seiton, (iii) Sapu - Seiso, (iv) Seragam - Seiketsu dan (v) Sentiasa Amal - Shitsuke. Kaedah persampelan berstrata dipilih sebagai teknik persampelan memandangkan populasi kajian tidak seragam dari segi jantina, umur dan bangsa. Sampel kajian ini melibatkan 242 orang tenaga pengajar. Kemudian saiz sampel dibahagikan pula kepada lapan buah Kolej Vokasional berdasarkan jadual penentuan saiz sampel oleh Krejcie dan Morgan (1970). Dua jenis statistik digunakan iaitu statistik deskriptif dan inferensi. Analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan Amalan 5S berada pada tahap yang tinggi. | 7620 | 2018 Thesis | Chemical constituents from the calyces of Hibiscus Sabdariffa Linn and its a-Glucosidase inhibitory activity Nadzirah Mohd Jauah The purpose of this study was to investigate the chemical compounds from the calyces of Hibiscus sabdariffa Linn. and their α-glucosidase inhibitory activity. Samples were collected from Balik Pulau, Pulau Pinang. The total of three kilogram of samples were air dried at room temperature, grinded and serially extracted by solid liquid extraction technique using hexane, dichloromethane, methanol, ethanol and water. Compounds were isolated and purified by several chromatographic techniques. Their structures were elucidated with spectroscopic methods including Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (1D-NMR and 2D-NMR), Liquid Chromatography-Mass (LCMS) spectrometry, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy and compared with data reported in the literature.
