Intelligent emotion and sensory remote prioritisation for patients with multiple chronic diseases
Alamoodi, Abdullah Hussein
An intelligent remote prioritization for patients with high-risk multiple chronic diseases is proposed in this research, based on emotion and sensory measurements and multi-criteria decision making. The methodology comprises two phases: (1) a case study is discussed through the adoption of a multi-criteria decision matrix for high-risk level patients; (2) the technique for reorganizing opinion order to interval levels (TROOIL) is modified by combining it with an extended fuzzy-weighted zero-inconsistency (FWZIC) method over fractional orthotriple fuzzy sets to address objective weighting issues associated with the original TROOIL. In the first hierarchy level, chronic heart disease is identified as the most important criterion, followed by emotion-based criteria in the second. The third hierarchy level shows that Peaks is identified as the most important sensor-based criterion and chest pain as the most important emotion criterion. Low blood pressure disease is identified as the most i.....

Systematic literature review: Interpretation of lah discourse particles in Malaysian speech [Sorotan literatur bersistematik: Interpretasi partikel wacana lah dalam ujaran masyarakat Malaysia]
Anida Sarudin
The particle "lah" in the aspect of discourse is an affirmative word that has various roles in utterance. The term discourse particle is used to describe the existence of pragmatic interpretation through use in a particular context. The various interpretations of the discourse particle "lah" resulting from existing studies not only provide input related to its structure but also cause confusion regarding its use. In line with that, the need for research to compile the findings of previous studies should be implemented to synthesize the use of these discourse particles in terms of coverage of the debate, its form and function. The methodology of this study which is a Systematic Literature Review study is based on the PRISMA standard (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta Analysis). Three main databases were used namely Scopus, Dimensions and Google Scholar. This study used thematic analysis with the help of ATLAS.ti 23 software. Based on the analysis conducted, 102 in.....

Embracing gen-z
Embracing gen-z's learning styles with a mobile enthalpy game application (MEGA) for thermochemical equation
Gen-Z is digital natives with unique learning styles. Gen Z is attracted to mobile technology and interactive visual learning materials. Therefore, the mobile game application seems to engage Gen Z in learning abstract chemistry topics. This paper focuses on the effectiveness of an Android game app, mobile enthalpy game application (MEGA) to facilitate students to write thermochemical equations and study its effect on their achievement in the topic. The study involved 72 Malaysian science matriculation students divided into control and treatment groups. The impact of MEGA (treatment group) versus PowerPoint slides (control group) on students performance writing thermochemical equations was compared. Results showed significant differences in pre and post-test scores for students in MEGA and PowerPoint groups. Students in the treatment group surpassed the control group's performance in the post-test scores. To conclude, the mobile game apps (MEGA) seemed to be able to promote gen Zs achi.....

A review: characteristics and prevalence of psychrotolerant food spoilage bacteria in chill-stored meat, milk and fish
Suzita Ramli
As the human population increases globally, the demands for getting high-quality and nutritious food content are also getting higher. However, the emergence of food spoilage microorganisms is remained challenging to fulfil societys demands in the current food industry. Food spoilage microbes can be introduced into any point across the farm-to-fork supply chain to cause notable degradation in contaminated food, therefore making it unsuitable for human consumption. The majority of food spoilage microbes will not cause serious illness even when consumers have accidentally ingested the contaminated food. Chilling and freezing are commonly used to inhibit microbial proliferation on food quality. However, neither chilling nor freezing are ineffective for psychrotolerant and psychrophilic spoilage microbiota, respectively due to their good adaptation to survive in chilling or freezing temperatures (below 4C or lower than 0C) to cause spoilage in refrigerated food. In this article, the process.....

Isotherm behaviour of P3OT, P3HT and PCBM langmuir layer on ionic subphase
Syed Abdul Malik Syed Mohamad
Isotherms are generally curves that depict the phenomena that govern a substances mobility at a constant temperature and pH. In this study, the Langmuir layer of P3OT, P3HT and PCBM were characterised by computing their surface pressure as a function of the surface area available to the molecules at the interface to obtain a curve called surface pressure area (?-A) isotherm. All three polymers were spread on two types of subphases-DI water and water containing bivalent metal ions, Pb2+. None of the Langmuir layers exhibits discrete gas-liquid-solid phase transitions on the water subphase. However, more stable Langmuir layers formed when lead ions were added to the water subphase. The stability enables the capping of lead ions between the polymer chain or within the balls, which can be implemented in flexible electronic devices. 2023, Penerbit Akademia Baru. How do students decision-making ability in solving open-ended problems?
Faridah Hanim Yahya
An open-ended problem in learning mathematics is a problem with more than one answer or method of solving. In solving open-ended problems in learning mathematics, one of the abilities students must use is decision-making ability. Each student has a variety of capacities, so this study aims to determine students' decision-making abilities in solving open-ended problems in learning mathematics. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were four students with different numbers of correct answers in working on open-ended problems. Data collection was carried out using tests and interviews. The results showed that (1) the decision-making ability of the subject who answers correctly for both problems is complete because they fulfill all indicators, the subject can identify goals, make decisions, evaluate the results of determination, and present and remember between problems with things known to the problem and related to decisions that have b.....

Hospital selection framework for remote MCD patients based on fuzzy q-rung orthopair environment
Alamoodi, Abdullah Hussein
This research proposes a novel mobile health-based hospital selection framework for remote patients with multi-chronic diseases based on wearable body medical sensors that use the Internet of Things. The proposed framework uses two powerful multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods, namely fuzzy-weighted zero-inconsistency and fuzzy decision by opinion score method for criteria weighting and hospital ranking. The development of both methods is based on a Q-rung orthopair fuzzy environment to address the uncertainty issues associated with the case study in this research. The other MCDM issues of multiple criteria, various levels of significance and data variation are also addressed. The proposed framework comprises two main phases, namely identification and development. The first phase discusses the telemedicine architecture selected, patient dataset used and decision matrix integrated. The development phase discusses criteria weighting by q-ROFWZIC and hospital ranking by q-ROFDOSM.....

Anxiety status of junior archers in Covid-19 during training isolation period towards the shooting performance
Wan Nurlisa Wan Ahmad
Studies have indicated that the COVID-19 pandemic has had miserable effects on athlete performance due to the movement control order (MCO) announced by the Malaysia Government. Dealing with self-training without the coach's guidance leads the archers to lose concentration, diminished self-confidence, and elevated anxiety levels. These factors contribute to inconsistent shooting performance. This study attempted to identify the archer's anxiety status during the training isolation period on the shooting performance. A total of 32 participants from the recurve archery category were recruited and enrolled in a web-based cross-sectional study during the MCO. The CSAI-2R instrument was applied to participants to examine the psychological aspect. Training Isolation resulted in a significant effect on anxiety status and shooting performance. Analysis from CSAI-2R, low-level archers, indicated 5% more anxiety than top-level archers for both cognitive and somatic anxiety sub-component. In contr.....
