This study is conducted to construct and examine the usage of al-Amin’s Strategy (SPA) of Akhlak Lessons in bringing up the akhlak-consciousness of form three students in Narathiwat and Pattani provinces. Al-Amin’s Strategy (SPA) are designed based on the Quranic verses 21-34 chapter of Taha, which describes the stories on the values of honesty shown by Prophet Moses a.s (al-Amin) highlighting on the strategy model of learning and teaching aid, the concept of knowing Allah, mastering knowledge, self improvement and soul cleansing. Ideas from al-Amin’s Strategy (SPA) are referred from personality model and cognitive (Mohd. Daud Hamzah & Abd. This study aims to analyze the homological functors of some torsion free crystallographic groups, namely Bieberbach groups, with symmetric point group of order six. The polycyclic presentations for these groups are constructed based on their matrix representations given by Crystallographic, Algorithms, and Tables package, followed by checking their consistency. The homological functors which include the nonabelian tensor square, the G-trivial subgroup of the nonabelian tensor square, the central subgroup of the nonabelian tensor square, the nonabelian exterior square, and the Schur multiplier are determined by using the computational method for polycyclic groups. The structures of the nonabelian tensor squares are explored and the generalization of the homological functors of these groups are developed up to n dimension. The objectives of this study are to synthesize novel chitosan-hydroxyapatite composites doped with strontium, magnesium and zinc via in situ co-precipitation method, to investigate the bioactivity, cytotoxicity and antimicrobial properties of the materials. Physicochemical properties of the products obtained were analysed by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential thermal analysis (DTA), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). The calcium release from the samples in simulated body fluid (SBF) were measured using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). Hybrid organic-inorganic nanocomposite materials have emerged as one of the most potential alternative candidate to silicon as future optoelectronic material due to their unique optical and electrical characteristics. However, current fabrication process involving synthesizing the pre-made nanoparticles inside the polymer matrices is tediously complex, costly and time consuming. In this research, two approaches in preparing nanocomposite thin films, in situ hybridization and ex situ hybridization, were studied and the results were compared. In situ hybridization, a novel method, where the nanoparticles were grown directly in the Poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) mixed with stearic acid layers by exposing the films to either H2S or H2Se gas. Ex situ hybridization were done by mixing pre-made CdS or CdSe quantum dots into P3HT solution. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membangunkan Profil Penaakulan Pelajar (PPP) berdasarkan permainan kategori jaring dan dinding dalam Pendidikan Jasmani. Profil Penaakulan Pelajar berdasarkan permainan kategori jaring dan dinding ditentukan keberkesanannya melalui keputusan Ujian Penilaian Kemahiran Menaakul (UPKM) dan Games Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI). Reka bentuk kajian kuasieksperimen dijalankan di empat buah sekolah menengah dalam daerah Hilir Perak, Perak. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 280 orang pelajar Tingkatan 2 dan empat orang guru Pendidikan Jasmani. Data kuantitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan min, sisihan piawai dan peratusan. Analisis inferensi pula menggunakan ANCOVA dan regresi berganda. Hasil kajian menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan pencapaian PPP melalui UPKM dan GPAI antara pelajar kumpulan rawatan dengan kumpulan kawalan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneroka kecenderungan gaya pembelajaran murid bermasalah pembelajaran Berkemampuan Tahap Tinggi (MBPBTT) dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Islam dan j-QAF. Kajian ini ialah satu kajian kes iaitu data kajian diperoleh melalui pemerhatian, temu bual dan hasil kerja murid. Kajian dijalankan terhadap enam orang murid, empat orang guru dan enam orang ibu bapa. Murid kategori bermasalah pembelajaran dipilih menggunakan kaedah sampel secara bertujuan di sekolah rendah Program Integrasi Pendidikan Khas (SEIP) di negeri Perak yang berumur antara 10 hingga 13 tahun. Konstruk dan kesahan dalaman telah disahkan oleh pakar, manakala kesahan luar diperoleh dengan membandingkan dapatan kajian lain yang berasaskan teori berkaitan. The purpose of this research was to study the effect of PBL method in promoting critical thinking in mathematical problem solving among students in matriculation colleges. This quantitative study was conducted using quasi experiment design. The study population consists of mathematics students from Malaysian matriculation colleges. The sample for the study was selected from one of the fifteen matriculation colleges using the convenience sampling method. Research respondents consisted of 159 students who were allocated to experimental group and 162 students allocated to control group. Both groups were given an assignment to solve mathematics problems in number system, sequence and series using respective intervention methods. This study aims to determine whether board diversity influence the quality of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure. Board diversity in this study refers to heterogeneity in board gender, education level, education background, age, ethnic, tenure and nationality. This study also aims to examine the effect of quality of CSR disclosure on firm performance. In addition, it investigates whether quality of CSR disclosure mediate the relationship between board diversity and firm performance. Agency theory has been employed to support the linkage among board diversity, CSR disclosure and firm performance. The data was collected from annual reports of 200 selected companies listed in Bursa Malaysia from 2009 to 2013. Endogeneity problems had been remedied using twostage least square. This study is aimed to analyse on how formulaic language can be used to enhance the speaking ability of limited English proficient (LEP) learners in a secondary school. Five, Form 4 LEP learners were involved in this study, which used a mixed method with an embedded design methodology. Their speech production (monologue and dialogue) were analysed in terms of accuracy by looking into the sentence selection to convey their intended ideas and the level of correctness in employing the learnt formulaic language in terms of lexis choices, word order and grammar, before and after a series of direct instruction sessions, which involved „noticing? and „awarenessraising? activities. The study also analysed how the use of formulaic language affects the context of repair fluency of the LEP learners in terms of repetition, reformulation and false starts.
