This study aims to determine whether board diversity influence the quality of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure. Board diversity in this study refers to heterogeneity in board gender, education level, education background, age, ethnic, tenure and nationality. This study also aims to examine the effect of quality of CSR disclosure on firm performance. In addition, it investigates whether quality of CSR disclosure mediate the relationship between board diversity and firm performance. Agency theory has been employed to support the linkage among board diversity, CSR disclosure and firm performance. The data was collected from annual reports of 200 selected companies listed in Bursa Malaysia from 2009 to 2013. Endogeneity problems had been remedied using twostage least square. This study is aimed to analyse on how formulaic language can be used to enhance the speaking ability of limited English proficient (LEP) learners in a secondary school. Five, Form 4 LEP learners were involved in this study, which used a mixed method with an embedded design methodology. Their speech production (monologue and dialogue) were analysed in terms of accuracy by looking into the sentence selection to convey their intended ideas and the level of correctness in employing the learnt formulaic language in terms of lexis choices, word order and grammar, before and after a series of direct instruction sessions, which involved „noticing? and „awarenessraising? activities. The study also analysed how the use of formulaic language affects the context of repair fluency of the LEP learners in terms of repetition, reformulation and false starts. This study aimed to identify causes, impact, reaction, and solutions of payment issue in the Malaysian construction industry. This study employed explanatory mixed methodological approach to collect data through questionnaires, focus group and interviews. The purposive sampling used consists of selected contractors listed with CIDB. Descriptive statistics and factor analysis were used. The finding reveals that payment issue arises due to poor financial management, and the attitude of local society which in turn formed financial hardship to the contractors. This study recommends that paymaster provides security bond, implementing the policy of business license deregistration and the role of financial institution. This study was undertaken to examine students' perceived ability to learn basic engineering drawing, differential impacts of spatial training and training transfers. The research method used was based on the Triangulation Software Development Method, which was carried out in two parts: a Survey Research, and an Experimental Research. The survey research examined students' perceived ability in learning engineering drawing involving 355 secondary school pupils, with a mean age of 15.5 years, which was conducted through a survey. This study attempts to explore the use of Facebook in the teaching and learning of research report writing in a Malaysian college. The aims are to examine the kinds of language teaching and learning activities carried out via Facebook, the use of Facebook in facilitating the teaching and learning of research report writing and the limitations of using Facebook in teaching and learning. A total of 35 students and one lecturer were involved in this study. The data was collected from document analysis and field note of Facebook entries and semi-structured interview with the participants. Data triangulation was used to provide a more complete understanding of the research findings. The findings indicate that reading, writing and discussion activities can be held via Facebook and all of the participants agreed that Facebook helps them in research report writing.
