Abstract

Amina Al-Marini is considered one of the capable poets who made her mark not only in modern Moroccan poetry, but also in contemporary Arab poetry. She is the poet who enchanted readers with her delightful poems, her fertile experience, and her sober scientific composition win her rich poetic achievements through her collections. Among these collections is a collection of poems (From the Papers of the Other Hallaj), which included three poems (A Cup, Bondage, and Rewards), all of them love, longing, and burning, all of them exploring the depths of childhood and recounting its dreams and joyful moments engraved in memory. The poet’s playing on the element of place broke her poetry and made her navigate her childhood and the train of her life, as she moves from place to place and seizes the nectar of all places, which makes her able to present a poetic achievement that is all an expression of pleasant poems. Kebezaan kefungsian item berkaitan jantina (GDIF) dalam instrumen TIPS II

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengesan kebezaan kefungsian item berkaitan jantina (GDIF) ke atas instrumen Test for Integrated Science Process Skills II (TIPS II). Prosedur analisis DIF berdasarkan model Rasch telah digunakan dalam kajian ini. Analisis DIF ialah satu kaedah statistik untuk mengenalpasti item-item yang menunjukkan ciri statistik (kefungsian) berbeza kepada dua tau lebih kumpulan pelajar yang sama kebolehan. Data diperoleh menggunakan instrumen TIPS II yang mengandungi 36 item objektif aneka pilihan. Item-item ini mengukur lima kemahiran proses sains bersepadu. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 570 pelajar tingkatan empat dari lima buah sekolah menengah harian di sebuah daerah dalam negeri Perak. Analisis data secara deskriptif menggunakan perisian SPSS versi 17.0 manakala analisis DIF menggunakan perisian Winsteps versi 3.49. Kajian menunjukkan GDIF wujud dalam item-item TIPS IL 19 daripada 36 item didapati lebih mudah kepada pelajar .....

Improving students' skills in creating accurate simple arabic sentences using qawalib candy

Abstract

The research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using "Candy Templates" as an innovative educational tool in teaching the Arabic language, specifically in enabling students to construct correct and linguistically sound sentences. The study involved a sample of 20 third-grade students from a secondary school in Klang, Selangor, who experience difficulties in constructing sentences correctly. "Candy Templates" are based on cards that present sentence structures and linguistic concepts to help enhance grammatical understanding. The study's results showed that these templates effectively contribute to improving students' skills in creating correct Arabic sentences and enhancing their understanding of both basic and complex grammatical structures. Ekspektasi adalah apa yang dijangkakan oleh pelajar sementara persepsi pula adalah apa yang dialami oleh mereka ataupun pengalaman sebenar mereka semasa menerima perkhidmatan daripada pihak pemberi perkhidmatan iaitu sekolah-sekolah mereka. Perbezaan di antara kedua-dua ekspektasi dan persepsi ini boleh digunakan sebagai penunjuk kepada kualiti perkhidmatan di sekolah-sekolah. Oleh itu, objektif dan matlamat kajian atau penyelidikan ini adalah untuk mengumpulkan maklumat tentang ekspektasi dan persepsi pelajar berkenaan kualiti perkhidmatan di sekolah mereka. Instrumen SERVQUAL digunakan dalam menjalankan soal selidik bersama-sama dengan pelajar pelajar. Soal selidik dijalankan di dua belas buah sekolah di daerah Hulu Selangor. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat keberkesanan Intervensi Psikopendidikan terhadap kemurungan dalam kalangan murid yang dirujuk kepada guru bimbingan dan kaunseling. Intervensi Psikopendidikan (IP) ini menggunakan Terapi Pemusatan Insan bersama dengan kemahiran asas kaunseling bagi mengurangkan kemurungan dalam kalangan murid yang dirujuk dengan masalah disiplin. Seramai 1O orang murid lelaki daripada sebuah sekolah di Temerloh Pahang yang terlibat dengan masalah disiplin telah dipilih dengan menggunakan persampelan bertujuan. 5 orang klien dijadikan subjek kelompok kawalan, manakala 5 orang klien lagi dijadikan subjek kelompok rawatan yang mengikuti Intervensi Psikopendidikan. Tempoh perlaksanaan kajian ini adalah selama 3 bulan dengan 3 kali sesi perjumpaan. Abstract

Abstrak: Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti masalah yang dihadapi oleh pelajar Tingkatan 1 di sekolah menengah dalam kemahiran membaca lantang dan meningkatkan kemahiran tersebut melalui pendekatan teori ‘Edgar Dale’s Cone of Experience’. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Penyelidik telah memilih sebuah Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Menengah yang terletak di daerah Kulim, negeri Kedah, sebagai lokasi kajian. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada pelajar Tingkatan 1 berbangsa Tamil di sekolah tersebut. Dalam kajian ini, kaedah pemerhatian, lembaran penilaian, ujian praujian, dan ujian pascaujian telah digunakan untuk mengumpul data. Hasil daripada ujian praujian menunjukkan bahawa semua pelajar yang terlibat dalam kajian tidak mencapai tahap pencapaian yang memuaskan. Namun, selepas tindakan yang dijalankan oleh penyelidik, keputusan ujian pascaujian menunjukkan bahawa semua pelajar mencapai tahap pencapaian yang sangat baik. Abstract: Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengenal pasti masalah yang dihadapi oleh pelajar Tingkatan 1 dalam bertutur secara efektif dan meningkatkan keupayaan bertutur mereka melalui pendekatan ‘Pembelajaran Berasaskan Masalah’. Kajian ini dijalankan di Sekolah Menengah Durian Tunggal, Melaka dengan melibatkan seramai 15 orang pelajar Tingkatan 1 dan tiga orang guru. Dalam kajian ini, pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif digunakan. Data dikumpulkan melalui ujian pra, ujian pasca, soal selidik, dan pemerhatian. Sepanjang kajian, didapati bahawa pelajar menghadapi pelbagai masalah dalam bertutur secara efektif. Oleh itu, pendekatan ‘Pembelajaran Berasaskan Masalah’ digunakan untuk meningkatkan keupayaan bertutur pelajar. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa pendekatan ‘Pembelajaran Berasaskan Masalah’ dapat membantu meningkatkan keupayaan bertutur secara efektif dalam kalangan pelajar. Improving the understanding of marabu thodar among lower secondary school students using genially digital game-based approach

Abstract: This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of digital game-based learning through the Genially platform to improve the understanding of Marabu Thodar comprehension among lower secondary school students. Marabu Thodar is a type of idiomatic expression that is also hard to understand by many lower secondary school students. This challenge occurs due to the traditional teaching method which is not engaging the students. Therefore, Genially the digital game-based platform that uses gamfication and visuals to create engaging effective learning of Marabu Thodar among lower secondary school students. Abstract: As a teaching aid, Augmented Reality (AR) has emerged as a popular tool for improving Form 4 students’ learning and this research seeks to explore how AR can help Malaysian students understand and summarize the Tamil novel Vadamalar. The conventional modes of teaching practiced at the moment has its drawbacks in embrace of students and enhancement of understanding, as indicated by low pre-test results. Specifically, this research seeks to find out if the inclusion of AR in the curriculum can facilitate a marked positive change in students’ reading behaviour, understanding as well as memory. This study therefore aimed at adopting a qualitative approach and data was obtained from pre- and post-tests administered on students before and after the introduction of the use of AR. Post-tests yielded usable comprehension scores whose range was 85-95 as opposed to the pre-test which had low scores which ranged between 25-50. Abstract: This study explores the application of John Dewey's educational theory to develop the oral skills of high school students in learning Tamil. Dewey's emphasis on experiential learning, student-centered instruction, and research-based methods offers a valuable framework for improving oral communication abilities. This study was conducted to achieve two objectives. The first objective is to identify the problems faced by Form 3 students in oral skills. The second objective is to improve the oral skills of Form 3 students through John Dewey's Experiential Learning theory.
