Penghasilan mural kini semakin mendapat tempat di kalangan sektor kerajaan dan swasta bagi mengisi ruangan dinding yang kosong kepada sentuhan yang dapat menimbulkan rasa ceria. Selain menjadi daya penarik, mural juga berperanan untuk menyampaikan pesanan yang terkandung dengan makna. Tujuan kajian ini dijalankan adalah untuk menganalisa lukisan mural dan mengenal pasti simbol yang diadaptasikan sebagai bentuk komunikasi pada mural di pekan Bagan Datuk, Perak. This study aims to develop adaptable tools by incorporating removable attributes and multi-functionality from pre-existing items, specifically in the context of relief print tools. The idea came to fruition after observing the usability of current commercial carving tools in terms of their efficiency, especially portability, space-saving, and cost. The methodology used is prototyping research, whereas the prototype product is tested in an actual environment. While the influence of Emperor Akbar’s religious tolerance and patronage of the arts on the development of Mughal miniature painting is widely recognized, this research provides a detailed analysis of the artistic elements in Akbar’s Ramayana. Mughal patronage produced fine illustrated manuscripts, outstanding artistic achievements within a sophisticated cultural context. The translation of Hindu epic scriptures, the Mahabharata and the Ramayana, during Akbar’s reign gave rise to Mughal miniature painting an excellent, refined school which amalgamated Indian themes with the rich tradition of Persian miniature painting.
