Iapetus Equatorial Ridge: The Understanding from The Quran and The Hadith
Encik Ahmad Faizuddin Ramli
This research studies the statement about the splitting of the Moon into two as narrated by Quran & Hadith in accordance to scientific studies related to the subject. The author suggests that current scientific findings of the formation of the equatorial ridge on Iapetus differs from the Islamic classical scholars’ opinions are not in tandem regarding the splitting and fusing of the moon. This research also applies the methodology of hadith from the writings given from various narrations and hadith literature. The application of document analysis methodology is applied to current concepts by the geologists and astrophysicists on the formation of the equatorial ridge of Iapetus and the ice ridge in Antarctica. The findings establishes that the Iapetus equatorial ridge is a genuine existence that occurred, which split into two and fused back. Shazlyn Milleana Shaharudin
Air pollution has been a significant issue in recent years due to rising industrialization and maritime activity around the globe, making air pollution forecasting a crucial concept in environmental study. This prompted the deployment of principal component analysis (PCA) for the source apportionment amongst the air quality parameters and the artificial neural network (ANN) for the prediction of the significant air quality parameters in ports area for this study. The study was carried out in seven federal ports across Malaysia for the period of 2009 and 2018, and 14 air quality parameters were calculated using information on air quality acquired from the Department of the Environment. The results of the study showed PCA identified NOx, NO, SO, NO2, CO, and PM10 as the variables of significance with a variation of 44.31% with CO exhibiting the highest factor loading (0.968). Artificial Neural Network-Source Apportionment accurately predicted CO as the major pollutant with R2 in training.....

A New Approach Based on Multi-Dimensional Evaluation and Benchmarking for Data Hiding Techniques
Aos A. Z. Ansaef Al-Juboori
This paper presents a new approach based on multi-dimensional evaluation and benchmarking for data hiding techniques, i.e., watermarking and steganography. The novelty claim is the use of evaluation matrix (EM) for performance evaluation of data hiding techniques; however, one major problem with performance evaluation of data hiding techniques is to nd reasonable thresholds for performance metrics and the trade-o® among them in di®erent data hiding applications. Two experiments are conducted. The rst experiment included LSB techniques (eight approaches) based on di®erent payload results and the noise gate approach; a total of nine approaches were used. Five audio samples with di®erent audio styles are tested using each of the nine approaches and considering three evaluation criteria, namely, complexity, payload, and quality, to generate watermarked samples. The second experiment involves the use of various decision-making techniques simple additive weighting (SAW), multiplicative e.....

Synthesisation of Photo-Mechanoluminescence Crystal of Europium Dibenzoylmethide Triethylamine (EuD4 TEA) with Different Solvent
Suriani Abu Bakar, Azmi Mohamed
EuD4TEA crystals have a few fascinating properties, such as photoluminescence and mechanoluminescence. Both phenomena occur when external excitation is performed on EuD4TEA crystals. Photoluminescence is excited by external light radiation, whereas mechanoluminescence is stimulated by an external mechanical force applied to it. EuD4TEA has easily been prepared only by standard crystallisation using dibenzoylmethane, europium nitrate hexahydrate, and triethylamine. This research mainly focused on the solvent for the synthesis of EuD4TEA crystals. The solvents used were ethanol and acetone. Acetone has the main credit for producing much higher-quality EuD4TEA crystals in certain aspects. Acetone-based end products are larger and have higher light emission under excitation. © 2024, Semarak Ilmu Publishing. All rights reserved...

The Acute Effect of Dynamic vs. Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Stretching on Sprint and Jump Performance
Cik Nor Fazila Abd Malek, Ali Md Nadzalan
Participating in sports has been shown to promote overall wellness and, at the same time, reduce health risks. As more people are participating in sports, competitions have increased, and every aspect of the game has been focused by coaches and athletes in order to improve performance. One of these aspects is the warm-up session. The purpose of this study was to investigate the acute effect of a dynamic warm-up versus a proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) warm-up on the sprint and jump performance of recreationally active men. Thirty (n = 30) males were randomly assigned to undergo three sessions of different warm-up types, 72 h apart, involving either proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), dynamic stretching (DS), or no stretching session (control). The PNF and dynamic modes of stretching improved vertical jump performance, F (2.58) = 5.49, p = 0.046, to a certain extent (mean + 3.32% vs. control, p = 0.002 for dynamic and mean + 1.53% vs. control, p = 0.048 for .....

Validity and reliability of a needs analysis questionnaire for the development of a creativity module
Noraini Abdullah
Despite the acknowledged importance of integrating creativity into school curricula, students with learning disabilities often lack the skill of creativity, due to its absence in classroom instruction. To address these gaps, the authors developed a needs analysis questionnaire assessing the necessity of a creativity module for primary school students with learning disabilities, focusing on Torrance's four creativity elements: (a) Originality, (b) Fluency, (c) Flexibility, and (d) Elaboration. This study, emphasizing content validity and reliability testing, comprised rigorous validation by a panel of nine special education experts, resulting in high content validity scores. In Part II, all items were accepted, yielding an overall S-CVI score of 0.97, indicating a ‘very suitable’ construct. In Part III two items were rejected; the overall S-CVI score remained at 0.80, signifying ‘very suitable’. A pilot test with 30 special education teachers demonstrated Cronbach's Alpha values.....
