Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keberkesanan kaedah Persekitaran Pembelajaran Maya Frog (Frog VLE) terhadap pencapaian Matematik pelajar Tahun Dua di Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil Mahathma Gandhi Kalasalai. Frog VLE merupakan sistem pembelajaran maya secara Web yang digunakan sebagai sistem pengurusan pembelajaran di semua sekolah di Malaysia. Tiga objektif kajian iaitu mengukur keberkesanan penggunaan Frog VLE terhadap pencapaian Matematik, mengukur tahap kepuasan dan tahap kemahiran menggunakan Frog VLE dalam kalangan pelajar. Pendekatan penyelidikan kuantitatif dipilih melalui reka bentuk eksperimen. Tiga set instrumen digunakan iaitu soalan pengujian, soal selidik dan senarai semak kompetensi kemahiran. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti tahap kompetensi pelaksana aspek pengetahuan, kemahiran dan sikap dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran berasaskan modul kerohanian dan pendidikan Islam dari di institusi pemulihan akhlak. Kajian ini menggunakan kerangka teori kompetensi Spencer dan Spencer dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif iaitu kaedah soal selidik. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan perisian Statistical Package for Social Sciences Version 29.0 (SPSS). Seramai 61 orang pelaksana modul kerohanian dan pendidikan Islam dari 3 buah institusi pemulihan akhlak di Malaysia menjadi sebagai sampel kajian untuk menjawab instrumen soal selidik. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensi iaitu kekerapan, peratusan, min, sisihan piawaian dan ujian analisis perbezaan MANOVA. Integrating the new technologies to improve the current educational systems makes it compulsory to the higher education institutions to get use of the current IT resources in order to be able to transform the traditional education ways into the e-learning sytems. Graduate employability has always been an issue of concern when prospective employers complain of the lack of prerequisite attributes of fresh graduates. Despite the many efforts to ease the problems, graduate employment issues continue to plague Malaysia_s labor market. We attest the veracity of this remark by the continued and prolonged social issues, as consequences of these problems, faced by many parties including government agencies, higher learning institutions, industries, parents and unemployed graduates themselves. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membangunkan model watan kepimpinan instruksional sekolah di Malaysia. Reka bentuk kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penyelidikan Reka bentuk dan Pembangunan (DDR) ubah suai melibatkan fasa analisis keperluan, fasa reka bentuk dan pembangunan serta fasa penilaian. Objektif fasa analisis keperluan adalah untuk mengenal pasti wujudnya keperluan dalam membangunkan model tersebut. Fasa ini menggunakan kaedah tinjauan melibatkan 370 orang bakal pemimpin sekolah dan kaedah temu bual tiga orang pakar dalam bidang kepimpinan instruksional di lapangan. Dapatan menunjukkan bahawa terdapat keperluan yang tinggi untuk membangunkan model watan kepimpinan instruksional (M=4.389, SP=0.789) dan konsensus pakar secara tematik. Culturally appropriate design guidelines could support developers in designing good mobile applications for users. Many studies in developing countries have been conducted without considering the local cultural aspects of the mobile applications for the user interface design. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the usability of mobile applications for three local cultural applications in Malaysian universities to improve the design of mobile applications. The research approach of this article emphasizes the descriptive quantitative results from heuristic evaluation between academics and students in the use of three mobile apps. The aim of this study was to investigate the essential oil, major constituents, and antioxidant activity of Garcinia urophylla leaf and stem bark. Essential oil was obtained from the leaves using hydrodistillation and its chemical composition was determined by gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Phytochemicals were isolated using column chromatography techniques and their structures were elucidated via spectroscopic methods and comparisons with literature data. Antioxidant activity was assessed using the total phenolic content assay and the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging assay. Results showed that the leaf oil primarily consists of _-caryophyllene (56.2%), _-humulene (26.3%), and _-gurjunene (6.3%).
