| 7875 | 2019 Thesis | The evaluation framework for Malaysian services success in mobile government environment Noor Dheyaa Azeez The purpose of this study was to develop the M-government service success evaluation
framework (M-GSEF) to evaluate mobile-government (M-government) service success from
the perspective of citizens. The development of the evaluation framework was carried out by
exploring the dimensions and factors of M-government service success and adapting DeLone
and McLean’s IS success model. A number of dimensions and associated factors within each
dimension of the M-GSEF were identified. System quality, information quality, and service
quality were the dimensions adopted from the DeLone and McLean's model, whereas
intention to use and user satisfaction were the dimensions re-specified in the proposed
framework as citizen's use/usefulness and citizen's satisfaction, respectively. Meanwhile,
citizen’s trust, perceived M-government service quality and perceived effectiveness were
incorporated as new dimensions in the proposed framework. The design of the present study
is based on descr..... 1678 hits |
| 7876 | 2020 Article | Blended learning in Islamic studies Nor Zanira Abd Manan Islamic Studies is one of the core subjects that require to be taken by each and every Muslim student in Malaysia. Even though these subjects are considered trivial by public and deemed nonessential compared to other subjects, instead it requires high concentration and focus from the students. Each year, the increment of students that failed in this subject arise. Therefore, study shows the Blended Learning method by combining application of Google Classroom and VAK learning style in the process of teaching and learning will overcome arise matter. Technology consolidation such as Google classroom application seem suitable and compatible to the students in this new millennium. Since this Islamic Studies consisting of reading activities, memorizing and practicality the selection of VAK Learning method will provide the most suitable learning pattern to the students. The outcome of this study is expected to increase students interest and enable them to dominate the subjects.

| 7878 | 2020 Article | Biogas fed-fuel cell based electricity generation: a life cycle assessment approach S. M. Shafie The world is currently facing a scarcity of energy resources in the electricity generation sector. The current pattern of electricity generation has brought harm to the environment. Fuel cell provides a huge potential in reducing the negative environmental impacts. Malaysia as a tropical country has abundant sources of biogas production that can be fed into the fuel to produce electricity and water. The paper aimed to identify the environmental impact towards the consumption of biogas feeding into fuel cells for electricity generation. The result showed that in this modelling of system boundary, the greenhouse gas emissions were high due to large contributions from the transportation and storage processes. Hopefully, the outcome from this study could help future researchers or stakeholders in making decisions to design fuel cells for electricity generation with minimum environmental impact contribution... 1191 hits |
| 7879 | 2019 Thesis | Performance analysis of reactive routing protocol based on less-flooding AODV and route stability aware in mobile ad-hoc networks Roswan Ismail The objective of this study is to propose a practical solution to help improve the
performance of the routing discovery process in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks
(MANETs). The study involved the development of two new routing protocols,
namely Less-Flooding Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector (LF-AODV) and Route
Stability Aware (RSA) protocols, with the aim of reducing the number of transmitted
route request (RREQ) packets and link failures during the route discovery cycle.
Accordingly, a series of simulations carried out with the NS-2 simulator to examine
the performance of such new protocols for 100 mobile nodes in an area measuring
600 meters x 600 meters. The performance criteria were based on routing overhead
(the total number of packets transmitted by a source node during the route discovery
process), average end-to-end delay (the average time taken by a packet to arrive at a
destination node from a source node), and network lifetime (time taken until all nodes
in a network die ..... 1658 hits |
| 7880 | 2020 Article | Biodegradable material in composting: green initiatives in Northern Malaysia and Indonesia Nurul Azita Salleh Composting is an aerobic or anaerobic organic waste decomposition process that is biologically produced. It is a method in managing solid waste, more specifically organic waste, that consists of food and agricultural waste. Disposal of food waste on a daily basis has led to the launching of several studies through a programme conducted to raise awareness and provide information to the public regarding the benefits of managing food waste. In Malaysia, a Taka kura based composting programme was held in Village A, a rural township in the state of Kedah, in the northern part of Peninsular Malaysia. Meanwhile in Indonesia, an overlay brick composting programme was held at RW22 to look at the level of knowledge and practice of residents about composting activities before and after the composting programme was implemented. The results of programmes in both countries showed that the level of knowledge and awareness of the population about food waste management has risen to a higher level than ..... 1520 hits |
