Penyelidikan ini bertujuan meneliti  Perkembangan Motif Catan Batik Fatimah Chik dalam Seni Lukis  Moden Malaysia sekitar tahun 1980-an hingga 2008. Reka bentuk penyelidikan menggunakan kaedah  kualitatif melalui pendekatan sejarah (historical) dalam  merungkai  tiga  objektif  kajian  bagi   mengupas  keselarian  dan  perbezaan perkaitannya   melalui   teknik,   motif,   kaedah   dan    gaya   yang   dipraktikkan   bagi memperolehi kesahihan maklumat. Analisis kajian ini melibatkan 12  buah karya catan batik kesemuanya bagi menjawab ketiga-tiga persoalan kajian. Terdapat empat teknik  pengumpulan data yang diaplikasikan dalam penyelidikan ini iaitu pemerhatian, temu bual,  rakaman   visual  dan  analisis  dokumen.  Dapatan  kajian,  menunjukkan  bahawa tahap  perkembangan  motif   dalam  karya  catan  batik  beliau  terdapatnya  perubahan melalui  gaya  dan  persembahan   mengikut  trend  semasa  aliran  seni  luk.....

Penyelidikan ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti hubungan kemudahgunaan, kebergunaan dan  keseronokan   dengan  sikap  terhadap  penggunaan  Augmented  Reality  (AR)  dalam pembelajaran  subjek  Bahasa   Inggeris.  Kerangka  konseptual  kajian  ini  dibina  dengan berpandukan  Technology  Acceptance   Model  oleh  Davis. Sampel  kajian  terdiri daripada 60 orang murid tahun lima di salah sebuah  sekolah di daerah Parit Buntar, Perak. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh amalan literasi ibu bapa terhadap perkembangan   bahasa   kanak-kanak   tiga   tahun   di   TASKA   di   Putrajaya. Pendekatan   kuantitatif  menggunakan  Kaedah  Tinjauan  telah  dilaksanakan  bagi kajian   ini.      Pemilihan    sampel   kajian   kanak-kanak   menggunakan   kaedah persampelan  rawak berlapis  yang melibatkan  100 orang kanak-kanak tiga tahun yang bersekolah di TASKA di Putrajaya. Pemilihan sampel kajian ibu  bapa pula menggunakan kaedah persampelan bertujuan. Borang Soal Selidik Ibu Bapa dan Borang  Perkembangan  Bahasa Kanak-kanak berpandukan borang senarai  semak Boddum (2013) telah digunakan  dalam kajian ini. Kajian   ini   bertujuan   untuk   meneliti   kesediaan   guru   dalam   mengintegrasikan kemahiran  berfikir  aras  tinggi  (KBAT)  berdasarkan  aspek  pengetahuan,  kemahiran dan sikap  semasa proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP) prasekolah dilaksanakan. A neutrally charged insecticide, imidacloprid (IC), has been intercalated into zinc hydroxide nitrate (ZHN) with the assistance of sodium dodecylsulphate (SDS). The presence of SDS assists the intercalation of IC by forming a hydrophobic region in the interlayer gallery of ZHN. The intercalated compound, ZHN–SDS–IC, was characterised using powder X-ray difraction (PXRD), thermogravimetric analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis, feld emission scanning electron microscopy, and gas sorption analysis. The PXRD studies demonstrated intercalation peaks at lower 2θ, which confrmed the intercalation of IC and SDS in the interlayer gallery of ZHN. The release and kinetic studies of ZHN–SDS–IC reveals that the IC were successfully released in controlled manner (with release time up to 1478 min), and were governed by pseudo second order kinetic model. A release study of dichlorprop phenoxyherbicides from the interlayer of a Zn/Allayered double hydroxide-dichlorprop nanocomposite was performed with various concentrations of sodium chloride, sodium carbonate and sodium phosphate and a mixture of sodium chloride, sodium carbonate and sodium phosphate in aqueous solution. The release study of dichlorprop showed that release is dependent on the concentration of the aqueous solution. The accumulated release percentage of dichlorprop phenoxyherbicides into the solution was found to be higher in solutions containing carbonate, phosphate, and a mixture of carbonate or phosphate anions. Confirmation of the releaseprocess was confirmed by the PXRD pattern of the powder recovered from highly concentrated solutions of sodium chloride, sodium carbonate, and sodium phosphate with basal spacing of 7.8 Å, 7.6 Å and 7.4 Å, is due to chloride, carbonate, and phosphate intercalation, respectively. Bispyribac (BP) anions have been successfully intercalated in the interlayer region of zinc hydroxide nitrate (ZHN) in the presence of sodium dodecylsulphate (SDS) surfactant. The physicochemical properties of the intercalation compound ZHN–SDS–BP have been characterised herein with different instrumental techniques. The intercalation of BP and SDS is clearly reflected in the PXRD analysis, based on the appearance of symmetrical, sharp and intense intercalation peaks at lower 2h with a basal spacing of 28.2–28.6 A? . The thermal studies show that the ZHN–SDS– BP nanocomposite has better thermal stability than the pristine BP. The intercalation of BP leads to significant changes in the surface area, porosity, and morphology. Nitrogen adsorption–desorption isotherms reveal that both ZHN–SDS and ZHN–SDS–BP are of Type IV. The last five years have witnessed intensive discussions on Knowledge Management and its importance. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between Knowledge Management and its aspects and its impact on the performance of the governmental institutions in the Emirate of Dubai from the point of view of the managers of these institutions. This study attempts to use the analytical descriptive method to address the subject of the research. In this light, the analytical framework drawn integrates these approaches and can be applied in empirical studies. The study uses the questionnaire in data collection, which is valid and reliable according to the Cronbach’s Alpha value. The aim of the study is to characterize the fibrillated cellulose (FC), which has been extracted from kenaf bast fiber using high speed homogenizer (HSH). The FC was prepared by applying 10,000, 15,000 and 20,000 rpm of homogenization process for 10, 15 and 20 mins. Morphological observation via Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) was carried out in order to observe the sur-face morphology of FC while Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy was performed to determine the changing of functional groups. Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) was done for thermal decomposition of FC. Results showed that the diameter of the FC from kenaf bast was determined below 100 nm. The Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy showed that lignin and hemicellulose were almost completely removed during the bleaching process at peak 1,737 cm-1.
