Augmented reality app in pre school education children knowledge about animals

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of children in educational settings by using an AR (Augmented Reality) app for animals in classroom activities. To achieve this, the study used sequential exploratory research design, applied in both quantitative and qualitative research. The participants in the study are 2 teachers and 37 children working in the kindergarten affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the central district of Kilis Province in the 2019-2020 academic year. The augmented reality app was used in one group (n=18) of children, and not in the other group (n=19). The children were given an animal recognition test prepared by the researchers before the app was used and again afterward in an attempt to discover how the AR app affected learning. The study determined that while animal recognition increased in both the AR and non-AR groups, the children in the group where the AR app was used recognized more animals than the other group. This study aims to develop a Project-Based Learning E-Module by utilizing the Arduino for the topic of impulse and examine its validity and usability among trainee physics teachers. ADDIE model was followed in the development of the PjBL e-module where the problem was analysed, the e-module was designed, and then developed using Canva. Constructivism learning theory, Inquiry-Based learning, Experiential Learning Theory and Cognitive Load Theory was implemented into the e-module to make the e-module meet the learning style of 21st-century learning. After that, the e-module then goes to implementation phase before finally getting its usability evaluated. The PjBL e-module has been read and evaluated by 56 Semester 7 physics students selected via convenience sampling. The mean value of the usability obtained is 3.67, which proves that the e-module has achieved a high usability level among trainee physics teachers. Kajian ini adalah untuk rnernbangunkan dan rnenguji tahap kebolehgunaan permainan 'Hit It, BINGO!' bagi subtopik Keseirnbangan Terrna dan Muatan Haba Tentu dalarn kalangan pelajar Fizik Tingkatan 4. Reka bentuk kajian ini adalah kajian pernbangunan dan rnenggunakan model ADDIE rnelalui pendekatan kuantitatif. Terdapat dua instrurnen yang digunakan di dalarn kajian iaitu borang kesahan pakar dan soal selidik kebolehgunaan. Sarnpel kajian terdiri daripada 30 orang pelajar yang rnengarnbil subjek Fizik dipilih rnenggunakan persarnpelan rawak rnudah. Kesahan pakar pula telah dinilai rnenggunakan peratus persetujuan. Dapatan kajian rnenunjukkan perrnainan 'Hit It, BINGO!' yang dibangunkan rnernperolehi kesahan yang baik iaitu 99.34% bagi soal selidik kebolehgunaan. An investigation of luna\'s science world cartoon according to science course outcomes

This study aimed to reveal the relationship between the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th-grade science course outcomes and the first season of the cartoon "Luna's Science World". The document analysis method was used in the study, which was designed with a qualitative research model. The study group of research consisted of fifty cartoons in the first season of Luna's Science World. The content analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research, it was determined that except for three parts, all the topics covered in the cartoon were related to the science course outcomes. Additionally, it was seen that each of the episodes could be directly related to the outcomes of the Science course. This shows that almost all levels can benefit from the educational feature of this cartoon. An effective entertaining interesting tool to identify misconceptions the concept cartoons

The aim of this research is to determine the students' misconceptions of using concept cartoons and to evaluate the lessons taught with concept cartoons according to the students' opinions. The model of the research is the case study, which is one of the qualitative research methods. Participants are a total of 82 students, attending the 3rd grade (8 years old). Descriptive analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. Considering the results of the research, although most of the students chose the right character and stated the reasons for finding operational mistakes, it was determined the students who stated that they agreed with the characters in the wrong instruction and put forward reasons, most of which included misconceptions. Penguasaan aras simbolik yang lemah menyebabkan murid-murid tidak dapat membina persamaan kimia yang betul. Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk membangunkan permainan Chemable bagi standard kandungan Persamaan Kimia KSSM Kimia Tingkatan 4 dan mengkaji persepsi guru pelatih Kimia terhadap kebolehgunaan permainan tersebut. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kajian pembangunan berdasarkan Model ADDIE. Kaedah persampelan secara rawak mudah digunakan dalam kajian ini. Sampel kajian melibatkan 92 orang daripada 116 orang populasi guru pelatih kimia Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris semester tujuh. The Effect of the intelligence games preschool program on the math skills of 60-72 month old children

This study was conducted to examine the effect of the Intelligence Games Preschool Program on the math skills of 60-72 month-old children. In the research, a model with pre-test post-test control group, which is one of the quasi-experimental models, was used. A total of 30 children, 15 of them from the experimental group and 15 of the control group, participated in the study. General Information Form and TEMA 3 Mathematics Ability Test were used as data collection tools in the study. In addition to the Preschool Education Program of the Ministry of National Education, the children constituting the experimental group in the study were included in the Intelligence Games Preschool Program prepared by the General Directorate of Lifelong Learning for 10 weeks, every day and 2 hours a week for a total of 100 hours. The Philippines, known to be one of the most disaster-prone countries in the world, experiences earthquakes, typhoons, and flooding yearly. For the reason of the country’s vulnerability to disasters, it is expected that both adults and children can demonstrate preparedness to such disasters. Hence, in order to improve the disaster preparedness of kindergarten pupils, we must begin looking at their perspectives before conceptualizing kindergarten lessons about disasters.
