Tujuan kajian ini ialah untuk membandingkan pencapaian pelajar yang mengikuti kaedah pengajaran menggunakan kaedah permainan dengan pelajar yang mengikuti kaedah pembelajaran konvensional bagi mata pelajaran Ekonomi tingkatan empat. Kajian ini juga mengenal pasti minat pelajar melalui penggunaan permainan dalam pembelajaran mata pelajaran Ekonomi tingkatan empat. Kaedah kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kuasi-eksperimen. Satu kelas dipilih sebagai kumpulan rawatan (n=30) dan satu kelas sebagai kumpulan kawalan (n=30) secara rawak. Intervensi dilakukan bagi kumpulan rawatan menggunakan permainan berbentuk kad dalam proses pembelajaran dan kumpulan kawalan menggunakan kaedah konvensional. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan pelajar bersetuju bahawa pembelajaran mata pelajaran Ekonomi melalui penggunaan kaedah permainan mampu menarik minat mereka untuk belajar. The paper presents the study on self-regulated learning (SRL) using open and distance learning (ODL) for Mathematics course in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Perak Branch, Tapah Campus. Some concerns with ODL mode are students’ academic performance, mathematical knowledge acquired, self-regulated learning when applying ODL alone throughout the entire semester. A sample of 347 among undergraduate students were collected at the end of March – July 2020 academic semester to measure level of self-regulated learning. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data. The findings indicated that the level of agreement for ODL has positive contributions to the students’ SRL.  ..

Nowadays, students have trouble solving word puzzles, even though they are trained to conduct another mathematical activity. The primary purpose of this study was to enhance the students’ ability to solve word problems. A questionnaire was used as a data-gathering tool, and the descriptive survey-correlational design was used. The data were treated using frequencies, ratios, weighted mean, and correlation analysis. The research sample consisted of 286 high school students from the University of La Salette, Incorporated in Santiago City. The majority of students are female, and took ABM as their strand. The findings of the study showed that choosing/writing an appropriate equation and performing it in a given problem affects most students’ ability to solve word problems. Moreover, the results showed that students were not sure of what they will feel when they encounter a complicated word problem. Kecergasan fizikal kanak-kanak boleh menjadi petunjuk tahap kesihatan mereka pada masa akan datang. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membangun dan menilai kandungan modul penilaian kecergasan fizikal berasaskan kesihatan kanak-kanak prasekolah Malaysia. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan penyelidikan reka bentuk dan pembangunan (PRP) yang terbahagi kepada tiga fasa. Fasa I ialah fasa analisis keperluan yang menggunakan kaedah tinjauan. Soal selidik diedarkan kepada 145 orang guru prasekolah. Fasa II ialah fasa reka bentuk dan pembangunan kandungan modul. Kaedah Fuzzy Delphi dan protokol temu bual digunakan terhadap 5 orang informan dan 17 orang pakar turut terlibat dalam fasa ini. Fasa III ialah fasa penilaian kebolehgunaan yang menggunakan kaedah reka bentuk kumpulan praujian dan pascaujian dengan melibatkan 43 orang kanak-kanak prasekolah. Current case in modern agriculture industry has shown that application of agrochemicals has led to high cost of production and serious environmental pollution. In this study, a natural organism known as seaweed, a renewable bio-resources originated from the sea has been chosen to be encapsulated in chitosan hydrogel. The rationale to use seaweed is because it is common in agriculture and horticulture, that the application of seaweed could promote growth, prevent pests and diseases. The seaweed was encapsulated at different concentrations (w/v%) of 5%-20% in chitosan solution using sodium tripolyphosphate as a crosslinker. The encapsulated seaweed in chitosan has been made into beads to suit the application as fertilizer beads. The analysis of FTIR for all beads confirmed the encapsulation took place when both functional groups of the host, chitosan and the guest, seaweed existed together in all the FTIR spectra of the chitosan-seaweed beads. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti amalan pembelajaran hafazan al-Quran dalam kalangan pelajar Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama (SMKA) yang melaksanakan program Tahfiz Model  Ulul Albab (TMUA). Kajian ini dijalankan dengan menggunakan reka bentuk penyelidikan kuantitatif  dengan menggunakan kaedah tinjauan bagi mengkaji enam objektif kajian dan menjawab lapan persoalan  kajian serta 16 hipotesis. Seramai 183 orang pelajar dipilih sebagai responden kajian yang diambil  dari empat buah SMKA TMUA. Instrumen set soal selidik digunakan untuk mengenal pasti kaedah  hafazan, faktor-faktor pembelajaran hafazan dan permasalahan pelajar dalam hafazan al-Quran. Environmental disturbances caused by tourism are commonly ignored in the measurement of financial performance. The focus of the study was to account for human activities  that have exceeded the environment’s ecological limits following Meadow’s limits to growth and  Pigou’s negative externalities theories within the context of tourism. Hence, the purpose of this  study was to develop environment-economic measurements to  estimate net  revenues for  tourism   island destination. These measurements included estimating tourism revenue, quantifying and  monetising environmental degradations and measuring Environmentally Sustainable Tourism Revenue  (ESTR) for Perhentian Island. This study aimed to develop a Symptomatic Behaviour Screening Tool (SymBest) for early childhood education (ECE) educators to identify symptomatic behaviours among children aged 3 to 4 years old. Three main objectives of this research were identified; the needs to development SymBest, to develop SymBest based on expert’s opinions and to test the usability of SymBest. This is a design and development study based on the model of Richey& Klien (2007) with 3 phases. In phases (I), 434 ECE educators was selected for an online need analysis survey and the data was analyzed with descriptive statistics for mean score and percentage. In phase, (II) 18 experts were selected for constructs and items validation using the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM). Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk menentukan kesan intervensi modul permainan mini berasaskan Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) terhadap perkembangan kemahiran motor kasar,   prestasi dan tahap pemahaman murid perempuan Tahun 4 dalam membuat keputusan, pelaksanaan kemahiran  dan sokongan. Reka bentuk kuasi- eksperimen telah digunakan dalam kajian ini untuk melihat kesan  intervensi modul yang telah dijalankan selama enam minggu. Sampel kajian seramai 52 orang murid  perempuan Tahun 4  telah dipilih secara rawak berkelompok yang kemudian dibahagikan kepada tiga  kumpulan iaitu kumpulan rawatan TGfU (dengan Kiu, n=17), Kumpulan TGfU (tanpa Kiu, n=17), dan  kumpulan kawalan (KSSR, n = 18).   This study aims to characterize the allergenic properties and determine the biochemical stability of allergens of purple mud crab, Scylla tranquebarica. Raw extracts were  prepared from the muscle tissues of both mixed and specific body parts. Various treated extracts  were prepared from the muscles of mixed body parts. Protein profiles, allergenic proteins and  cross-reactive allergens were then identified by sodium  dodecyl  sulfate-polyacrylamide  gel   electrophoresis  (SDS-PAGE), immunoblotting and immunoblotting inhibition test techniques,  respectively, using sera from crab-allergic patients. The identification of major allergens were  analyzed by mass spectrometry. This study showed that raw mixed part extract contains the most  protein bands and allergenic proteins than the specific body parts and all treated extracts. Five  major allergens were identified at 38, 42, 50, 63 and 73 kDa. Mass spectrometry analysis identified  the 42 and 50 kDa as argi.....
