This quasi-experimental study aimed to investigate the effects of using contextual clues strategy to understand the meaning of words while reading a text among Form 1 students. The samples of this study, consisting of70 students, were divided equally into a control (n=35) and a treatment group (n=35). Kajian ini bertujuan mengkaji kesan pendekatan pembelajaran menggunakan Modul 3K terhadap skor markah Soalan Pemahaman KOMSAS dan skor markah Soalan Pemahaman KOMSAS berdasarkan aras soalan Kemahiran Berfikir Aras Rendah (KBAR) dan Kemahiran Berfikir Aras Tinggi (KBAT). Kaedah eksperimen kuasi digunakan dalam kajian ini. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 50 murid Tingkatan Empat di sebuah sekolah dalam daerah Segambut, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. Kajian ini menggunakan ujian pra, ujian pasca dan soal selidik sebagai instrumen kajian. Sampel kajian dibahagikan kepada dua kumpulan secara rawak terdiri daripada 25 murid kumpulan kawalan dan 25 murid kumpulan rawatan. Ujian-t dan analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk menganalisis data kajian. This study determines the effect of health knowledge on nutrition label use and attitude, and consequently on healthy food choice among Malaysian consumer. This study adopted the positivist, deductive and quantitative approach. A sample consisted of 420 Malaysian consumers, aged at least 15 years old, which selected using systematic streetintercept sampling method. Data, which collected using a self-administered questionnaire, were analysed using descriptive statistics and structural equation modelling (SEM). The findings reveal the significant positive effect of health knowledge on attitude towards nutrition label and attitude towards nutrition label on healthy food choice. Though the findings add to the existing literature, provide useful information on how nutrition label could assist in guiding the consumer to make a healthier food choice and serve as a reference point that could stimulate and guide future researchers and other relevant parties, this study is still limited by sever.....

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of audio imagery with video modelling on participants’ self-efficacy during resistance exercise. Forty five individuals volunteered as research participant and were divided homogenously into imagery with modelling end instruction (EIM) or initial instruction (IIM) groups and a modelling only (M) as control group. During the pre-test all participants employed self-efficacy (SE) of lunges exercise. All participants were provided with the interventions (EIM, IIM, & M) during 10 minutes rest before the first post-test which, all measurements were conducted to look at the acute effects of interventions employed. Participants’ android phones were downloaded with specific intervention according to their group and they were advised to employ the intervention once a day for seven days. Total hip replacement (THR) is the most popular surgery been performed in orthopedic surgery due to the inclination of musculoskeletal disorder and the aging population worldwide. However, the implant’s cost-burdened the patient, especially in the ASEAN region. The main objective of this study was to fabricate the low-cost hip implant using direct laser metal sintering (DMLS). The framework starts with the three dimensional of hip anthropometric datasets from computed tomography scanner, followed with the design of hip implant, computational analysis using finite element, and finally fabrication using DMLS technique. The morphological results demonstrated the value of neck-shaft angle was 130.46º, and the femoral head offset of 30.35 mm. The finite element analysis showed strain distribution was 65 MPa for the implant in metaphyseal region and 110 MPa for intact femur under staircase physiological loading which indicated inhibition of stress shielding at medical calcar region, and m.....

Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti fungsi nilai yang terdapat dalam watak wanita melalui teks Syair Siti Zubaidah. Makalah ini juga menghuraikan bagaimana Syair Siti Zubaidah menampilkan konflik tentang wanita yang meletakkan wanita tradisi sebagai seorang yang berani serta keluar daripada nilai tradisi wanita-wanita sebelumnya. Makalah ini akan memanfaatkan pendekatan struktural dan sosiologikal. Pendekatan struktural melihat teks sebagai dunia kata-kata yang autonomous dan rujuk kendiri yang melihat teks sebagai dunia yang tertutup. The present study explores students’ experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). Its approaches range from traditional to  interactive lectures which include e-learning tools. The purpose of different lecturing approaches is to promote active learning as part of learner-centred education, among tertiary students.
