Aplikasi mudah alih JomKira merupakan aplikasi yang berfokuskan kepada topik Perwakilan Data. Aplikasi ini berfungsi sebagai kalkulator penukaran dan nota ringkas yang  dikhaskan kepada pelajar sekolah menengah yang mengambil subjek Asas Sains Komputer. Objektif utama  penyelidikan ini adalah untuk mengenalpasti keperluan dan rekabentuk aplikasi JomKira dan  seterusnya membangunkan aplikasi JomKira. Metodologi pembangunan yang digunakan adalah adalah  berasaskan model Air Terjun kerana fasa-fasanya yang sistematik dan teratur. Pengujian aplikasi  dilakukan terhadap pelajar sekolah menengah yang berkaitan melalui pengedaran borang soal selidik  secara atas talian. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa aplikasi JomKira ini adalah mesra pengguna dan mencapai objektif pembangunan yang telah dinyatakan.  ..

Inspirasi kajian ini tercetus apabila tularnya wabak penyakit berjangkit bermusim yang menyerang masyarakat kita sepeti SARS, H1N1 dan HFMD. HFMD berlaku disebabkan jangkitan virus Coxsackie pada sistem imunisasi badan. Ini sangat membimbangkan kerana wabak ini menyerang kanak-kanak yang berusia tujuh tahun ke bawah. HFMD Epidemic merupakan sejenis karya multimedia, motion graphic yang membawa maksud wabak penyakit tangan kaki dan mulut. Motion graphic terdiri daripada dua jenis perkataan iaitu motion dan graphic yang memberi erti pergerakan dan grafik. Motion graphic merupakan sebahagian daripada cabang multimedia. Oleh itu reka bentuk untuk menghasilkan motion graphic ini terdiri daripada teori-teori multimedia. Tujuan karya ini dihasilkan adalah untuk memberi kesedaran kepada masyarakat umum dan khususnya ibu bapa tentang bahayanya wabak penyakit berjangkit HFMD. Keadaan semasa Pengenalan Frekunsi Radio (RFID) telah berkembang dari segi pelaksanaan mengawal maklumat dan bahan. Ia adalah salah satu daripada teknologi yang terkumpul di bawah Pengenalan Automatik seperti kod bar, dakwat magnet, pengecaman optik, pengecaman suara, memori sentuhan, kad pintar, dan biometrik. RFID menjadi satu ciri penting kerana keupayaannya untuk mengesan objek di bawah pengenalan yang unik. The application named AR Sistem Suria is developed to expose the Augmented Reality technology to the students that will gives the real world scene by having virtual 3D objects on the  smart phone’s screen especially in astronomy field that students learn Solar System in Science  Standard 4. The data result consist of several perception to be measured such as functionality,  effectiveness and application design testing to the Science teachers and students in Standard 4, 5  and 6 at primary school as the respondent for this research. The research instrument consist of  questionnaire for the teachers and the students and each perception consist 5 question itself. By  referring to Likert Scale, the result review mostly the higest mean for each of the perception for  both testing on teachers and students. A thinking-based learning module for enhancing 21st century skills

This study aims to develop the Thinking-Based Learning (TBL) module for learning secondary school Algebra. This study uses the developmental model design and the TBL module is designed using the combination of ADDIE Model and Kemp Model. It is conducted in five phases: (1) Analysis (2) Design of TBL Module, (3) Development of TBL Module (4) Implementation, and (5) Assessment of TBL Module. The research instruments are the Content Validity Form and Module Reliability Survey. The validity of the module is validated by three experts in the field of mathematics education. Sample of the study in the evaluation phase consisted of the pre-service secondary school mathematics teachers which are selected using random sampling technique.The findings showed that the content validity and the reliability indices for the TBL module are at a satisfactory level.Significantly, the TBL module is able to provide guidance to all secondary school mathematics teachers in customary teaching practices for the.....

Adventure learning in basics statistics: Impact on students critical thinking

Malaysia Ministry of Education has put critical thinking skills elements into one of the six aspirations that pupils need to achieve. This was a turning point that teaching methods should be transformed. Therefore, innovation of teaching methods needs to be done. One of the strategies suggested is adventure-based learning (ABL). The main objective of this study is to examine the impact of ABL methods in the teaching of Basic Statistics on critical thinking skills. This study uses a quantitative approach with quasi experimental pre and post design. Only one group of students is formed. The study was based on the cluster sampling method and involving the semester two students of the Preparation Programme of Teaching Bachelor (PPTB). Instruments used are modules of adventure-based teaching methods and critical thinking skills tests. Binary logistic regression analysis of instructional leadership factors affecting English language literacy in Primary Schools

This paper discusses the factors contributing to student achievement in English language literacy in primary schools within Sibu division, Sarawak, Malaysia. The study involved 694 teachers who taught in 105 lower primary schools. Binary logistic regression was applied to predict the instructional leadership’s influence on student achievement in literacy. The findings revealed that one dimension of instructional leadership - supervising and evaluating instruction - emerged as strong predictors of literacy. The result indicated that schools were more than 17 times more likely to achieve 100% literacy rate when the instruction processes were supervised and evaluated by the headmasters. Supervision and evaluation of instruction had a positive influence on students’ achievement for English language literacy, hence making this a possible course of action for school heads. More comprehensive studies are needed to ascertain its consistency as well as investigating other predictors for lit.....
