Analisis fizikal dan mineral Tembikar Tanah di Gua Lubang Kelawar Bukit Batu Tambah, Hulu Kelantan

Tembikar tanah merupakan antara artifak yang biasa dijumpai sewaktu kerja ekskavasi arkeologi sama ada prasejarah atau protosejarah. Tembikar tanah merupakan antara peralatan yang digunakan oleh masyarakat prasejarah sebagai alatan kegunaan dalam kehidupan seharian. Tembikar tanah yang dijumpai di tapak arkeologi perlu diketahui sama ada ia dibuat oleh masyarakat setempat atau dibawa dari luar. Oleh yang demikian, kajian secara analisis kimia perlu dilakukan untuk mendapatkan kandungan mineral dan unsur tembikar tanah supaya dapat dibandingkan dengan sampel tanah liat yang terdapat di kawasan tersebut. Perbandingan ini untuk mendapatkan kepastian sama ada tembikar prasejarah tersebut, dibuat di sekitar kawasan jumpaan atau dibawa dari luar. Hasil daripada kajian ini mendapati, tembikar yang dijumpai sewaktu ekskavasi di Gua Lubang Kelawar dibawa dari kawasan lain. Kajian ini dijalankan untuk membandingkan kesan Pembelajaran Berasaskan Projek (PBP) dengan pembelajaran tradisional (PT) melalui penilaian mengikut kaedah Pendidikan Berasaskan Hasil (PBH). PBP digunakan dalam mata pelajaran Biologi bagi topik ‘Ekosistem  Terancam’. Kesan PBP bagi pencapaian akademik (domain kognitif), kemahiran sosial (domain afektif)  dan kemahiran manipulatif (domain psikomotor) serta perkaitannya dengan gaya pembelajaran turut  dikaji. Subjek kajian yang disampel secara bertujuan melibatkan 60 orang murid perempuan daripada  dua buah kelas Tingkatan 4 aliran sains yang mengambil mata pelajaran Biologi di sebuah sekolah  bestari di Selangor. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk eksperimen kuasi. Tiga jenis instrumen  kajian telah digunakan; ujian pencapaian, rubrik dan soal selidik. The role of communication skills in persuading customers to purchase products

This paper experimentally investigates the role of communication skills in persuading customers to purchase products. This paper aims to inform readers about communication skills and how they utilize them to encourage consumers to buy things because if a salesperson has excellent communication skills, he can easily persuade clients to purchase the products. The exploratory research included 100 people, 24 men and 76 women, who cooperated with this study. A legal and reliable two-section survey was used to collect information about the population and to answer specific questions about communication skills. According to the results, several people believe that communication skills are crucial and effective in persuading customers to buy a product. The study results include advice for salespersons who want to convince customers to buy their demand and information for customers who wish to purchase products from salespeople. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti peranan guru dalam interaksi yang sensitif dan responsif terhadap kanak-kanak di TADIKA swasta Negeri Kedah. Kajian ini juga meneliti perbezaan bentuk interaksi antara guru dengan kanak-kanak dan juga untuk mengkaji inisiatif aktiviti yang dilakukan oleh guru untuk menggalakkan kanak-kanak berinteraksi. Kajian gabungan digunakan dalam kajian ini. Kajian kualitatif melibatkan analisis tematik berdasarkan Miles dan Huberman. Sampel kajian seramai tiga orang peserta yang terdiri daripada guru tadika swasta. Kajian kuantitatif pula menggunakan kaedah kajian tinjauan yang terdiri daripada 63 orang peserta kajian juga terdiri daripada guru TADIKA swasta. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah borang soal selidik yang terdiri daripada 25 item ini dibina berdasarkan dapatan tema daripada kajian temubual. Recruitment challenges for International Schools in Malaysia

There is a critical need for international schools to attract and retain quality teaching staff to ensure the quality of learning for the students and maintain their competitiveness within a dynamic market. This paper reports the findings of a study that investigates teacher recruitment challenges in international schools in Malaysia. A series of semi-structured interviews involving four management personnel from a sample of international schools revealed six recruitment challenges and five solutions highlighted by the participants to respond to these challenges. Such identification of the challenges and solutions would enable administrators to plan for the talent pipeline of their institutions and prepare for unknown disruptions that might occur in the future. Komunikasi interpersonal dipengaruhi oleh budaya dan persekitaran yang memberi kesan terdapat perkembangan psikososial seseorang individu. Corak komunikasi lebih mesra dan harmoni dengan kewujudan satu interaksi interpersonal yang mengekalkan keseimbangan sistem keluarga. Kajian ini telah dijalankan bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang hubungan komunikasi interpersonal antara ibu bapa dan remaja B40 daripada pendekatan psikososial. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kuantitatif dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensi. Sampel kajian ini terdiri daripada remaja B40 yang berumur 16-25 tahun di Sungai Petani dengan melibatkan seramai 109 orang. Modularizing an acting imagination activity for Malaysian Secondary School Theatre activities

The primary aim of this study was to develop an Acting Imagination Activity Module that can effectively augment cognitive capabilities within the context of secondary school theatre co-curricular activities. The development of this activity module is grounded in the incorporation of imagination techniques developed from Stella Adler's Acting Theory, Constructivism Theory, and Richey and Klein's DDR Model. The assessment of the module's usability is carried out over two cycles, applying the Delphi Method. The findings obtained from the needs analysis and literature review suggest a dearth of specialized modules and reference materials employed for theatre co-curricular activities, particularly in the context of acting in Malaysian secondary schools. Learning stations in enhancing remedial pupils basic numeracy post-pandemic a case study

This case study aims to explore the usage of learning stations to teach basic numeracy and to engage level one remedial pupils to learn basic numeracy after pandemic. After the pandemic, many factors will determine whether remedial pupils struggle to grasp basic numeracy skills, especially in light of the new educational norm that the COVID-19 pandemic has provoked. However, learning stations can assess pupils’ understanding through its unique features, improving pupil’s learning numeracy, especially in this post-pandemic COVID-19. Data was collected from three remedial officers via interview and five remedial primary level one pupils in Sandakan, Sabah through observations. On top of that, analysis of documents such as APDM data and numeracy screening data were performed to gain a comprehensive picture of this usage of learning stations. Cooperative group work as a stimulus to enhance narrative essay writing

This study was conducted to find an alternative method to teach writing besides the ones which are  already in practice. This study was conducted in a selected secondary school in Ipoh. 60 students  were selected and split into 2 groups of 30 each. One was the control group and the other was the  experimental group. Various methods were used to gather data. Questionnaires, written essays and  interviews were used. The findings revealed that the group which underwent treatment improved  significantly suggesting that the cooperative group work is indeed an effective way to teach  writing.Educators have to place more emphasis on group work in teaching writing.  ..

This study was undertaken to investigate the effectiveness of Cooperative Learning method in  improving reading comprehension. The study intended to find out if the use of Cooperative Learning  method can bring about improvement in the post-test scores after treatment as compared to the  pre-test scores. The one-group pre-test post- test experimental design was adopted in this study in  order to discover the effectiveness of Cooperative Learning method in improving reading  comprehension. Twenty form four students of a National Secondary school served as samples in this  study. At the beginning stage of the experiment, a pre-test was administered to the group of  students.
