| 2024 Article | Transforming classroom dynamics: A comparative analysis of U-style, V-style, and circle innovative teaching techniques Thamburaj, Kingston Pal This research paper examines three distinct teaching methods—U-Style, V-Style, and Circle—and analyzes their impact on student participation, collaboration, and learning outcomes. The study involved 30 students enrolled in a Tamil degree program, with the seating arrangement used in a Tamil classical literature class. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used to evaluate the impact of these seating styles. Data was collected through observation, tests, and student feedback. The findings suggest that cluster seating is particularly effective in creating a student-centered classroom. This setup promotes collaborative learning and improves student engagement and learning outcomes. The study emphasizes the importance of well-planned seating arrangements in the classroom. Using cluster seating can help create an active and cooperative learning environment, supporting the goals of modern education. © 2024 The Authors... 106 hits |
| 2024 Article | Transforming inclusive digital pedagogy in Malaysian tertiary TVET: Adapting to a new educational landscape Mohd Ridhuan Mohd Jamil The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly sped up the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education. The aim is to create a more inclusive and fair system, especially in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for individuals with special needs. This approach focuses on personalized learning, high-quality information, and employer involvement, even though it is challenging to replicate traditional classroom experiences. Using the fuzzy Delphi technique, the methodology adapts inclusive digital teaching to changing needs, stressing infrastructure, accessibility, personalized learning, digital skills development, and teacher capabilities. Malaysia is working to become a global leader in education by using ICT to support student-centered learning and develop digital skills, in line with the National Digital Policy. The results show a strong potential for building a thorough digital education system. This integration has importan..... 76 hits |
| 2024 Article | The digital classroom: Systematic review of use of English as a foreign language (EFL) in teaching in collaborative online settings Singh, Charanjit Kaur Swaran This study systematically reviews existing literature on the use of collaborative online settings for teaching English as a foreign language (EFL). Covering 37 peer-reviewed articles published between 2013 and 2024, the review examines various aspects of online collaborative EFL teaching, including the digital platforms utilized, the educational environments, and the specific language skills targeted. The findings indicate that collaborative online environments can enhance EFL learners' language proficiency through interactive learning, feedback techniques, and personalized learning. Additionally, the review found that such environments primarily improve learners' writing skills, with oral and speaking skills also benefiting. However, challenges such as learner distraction, Internet connectivity issues, lack of resources, and limited technical skills were identified as barriers to adopting collaborative online settings in EFL teaching. Strategies to mitigate these challenges such as th..... 52 hits |

| 2024 Article | Remote sensing and gis-driven model for flood susceptibility assessment in the upper solo river watershed Mohd Hairy Ibrahim This study aims to develop an expedited flood susceptibility model with remote sensing data that can be effectively utilized for a large catchment area. We apply the model to the Upper Solo River Watershed in Indonesia. The model incorporates the hydrological attributes of the watershed obtained from remote sensing data, including elevation, slope, flow accumulation, proximity to rivers, rainfall, drainage density, topographic wetness index, land use land cover, normalized difference vegetation index, soil moisture, and land surface curvature. The flood susceptibility criteria are generated using remote sensing datasets such as The Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM), Sentinel 2 Multispectral Instrument, Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) v6, and NASA-USDA Enhanced SMAP Global Soil Moisture Data. Through utilizing remote sensing data and GIS analytic tools, this study has discovered that it is possible to create a flood susceptibility model for large catchment regions cost-effi..... 72 hits |

| 2024 Article | Integrating aesthetic theory into the design of immersive exhibitions for data imaging Muhammad Fadhil Wong Abdullah The aim of this study is to integrate the aesthetic theory into an immersive data imaging exhibition that shows how aesthetic principles influence user engagement, visual appealing and complex interaction in Tri Sphere Technologies. The study used mixed methodology for evaluating immersive visualization styles on interaction complexity, typography, average rating, color harmony and information architecture as well as aesthetics. The qualitative analysis investigated the immersive user engagement, exploration of data and aesthetic appealing in Tri Sphere Technologies visualizations. The data analysis revealed the complicated patterns and connections among aesthetic elements and modalities in immersive visualization like how Tri Sphere Technologies execute the thematic analysis in this context. This research provides the practical and theoretical implications of data exhibition design in the context of aesthetic theory. The results show how theory affects user experience in difficult var..... 60 hits |
