Impacts of workload on teachers’ well-being: A systematic literature review

This systematic literature review focuses on the elements that contribute to teachers’ workload and its impact on their well-being. In general, researchers have conducted several pertinent studies on the issue of teachers' workload, therefore it is not a particularly new one. Regretfully, the majority of past research did not include the wellbeing of teachers. Hence, the present study reviewed 15 past studies on the teacher’s workload factors and its impact on their well-being. Two databases, Web of Science and Scopus, were used for the review. Systematic review on chemical diversity and biological activities of essential oils from the genus blumea (Asteraceae)

Essential oils from plants have been widely used in the prevention and treatment of numerous human diseases in many parts of the world for thousands of years.. Plants of the genus Blumea comprise about 80 species and are distributed in tropical and subtropical Asia, Africa, and Oceania; thirty of which are distributed in the southern provinces of China. The genus has been used locally in the treatment of bronchitis, blood diseases, fevers, and to alleviate a burning sensation. Over the last years, Blumea species have attracted great interest due to the variety of their essential oils, bioactive compounds, and pharmacological activities. The conductive ink research area has attracted much interest from researchers. The possibility of fabricating flexible and simple electronic devices offers many advantages for electronic devices, such as energy storage, wearable devices, and smart devices. Graphene conductive ink has gained much attention from scientists owing to its excellent electrical, optical, and mechanical properties. Numerous scientists have reported the modification of graphene properties to meet the demand for the application. Among the presented graphene synthesis methods, the electrochemical exfoliation process is simple, low-cost, and environmentally friendly. Moreover, the electrochemical exfoliation approach can be conducted in a water solution, thus decreasing production costs and making it environmentally safe. Work outcomes and well-being among working women: A systematic literature review

The impact of work outcomes (work stress, work-life balance, workplace bullying, and support) on the well-being of working women has been argued for decades. As the rate of employed women rises, the negative impacts of work outcomes on well-being require urgent investigation to retain employees. Thus, this review identifies the associations between work outcomes and psychological well-being among working women. Utilising seven databases (EBSCOhost Research Database, Scopus, Sage Publications, PubMed, Taylor and Francis Online, Google Scholar, and Wiley Online), a total of 13 quantitative studies and ten qualitative studies were included in the review. This review reported moderate links between work stress and well-being (r = -0.20 to -0.44), weak to strong links between work-life balance and well-being (r = 0.12 to 0.70), moderate links between workplace bullying and well-being (r = -0.21 to -0.24), and weak to moderate links between support and well-being (r = 0.20 to 0.38). This paper revisits the analysis on the effect of cross-cultural awareness and self-efficacy, which are both significant constructs in today’s globalized world. People are expected to have both a high level of self-efficacy and a strong sense of cross-cultural awareness due to the growing frequency of cross-cultural interactions. For fields like education, psychology, and cross-cultural communication, it can be very crucial to comprehend how cross-cultural awareness affects self-efficacy. 60 relevant articles were found after a thorough assessment of the literature on the subject using thematic analysis of the CNKI and Google Scholar databases. Taichi is Medicine (TIM): The model of taichi and health promotion

Taichi is a popular alternative medicine approach embraced by experts worldwide. However, the foundational theories and potential mechanisms of Taichi, along with its impacts on health promotion, remain uncertain. This study aims to present a new model for the integration of Taichi exercise and health, termed ‘Taichi is Medicine’ (TIM). Taichi is characterized by circular movements, relaxation, belly respiration, a gentle-slow-smooth approach, and the promotion of dynamic balance. Its foundational theories involve Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Taoist Philosophy (TP), Exercise is Medicine (EIM), Positive Psychology (PP), as well as Self-Determination Theory (SDT). These apps are widely used because they are accessible and inexpensive. The services and capabilities they offer and the quality of their content, however, differ greatly. Exploring corpus linguistics via computational tool analysis: Key finding review

Corpus linguistics investigates language using extensive text databases. Tools assist researchers in analyzing, extracting, and interpreting linguistic information efficiently. Furthermore, if researchers only use traditional tools in corpus linguistic analysis, they will lack the comprehensiveness and efficiency required to effectively navigate and derive valuable insights from language data. This paper employed the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) approach to find the primary data based on a few keywords in corpus linguistic, corpus analysis, computational linguistic, text corpora and tool support. Based on this method, we used advanced searching techniques on Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) and discovered (N=28) data pertinent to the study.
