However, the effectiveness of the external focus direction and internal focus on the press behind neck lift not yet again compared among the weightlifter. Therefore, the aim of this study was to identify the three conditions (external focus, internal focus and control) that brings the best performance in the press behind neck. Besides that, a total of 30 athletes Selangor weightlifters performed the pre-test before they are divided into treatment groups (external focus and internal focus) and a control group. Journal of Sports Science and Physical Education 5(2): 44-52, 2016 - The aim of this study is to identify the differences in academic achievement between athletes involved in Karnival Kokurikulum Sukan antara Kolej Matrikulasi (KAKOM) and non-athletes in Labuan Matriculation College. Overall 200 respondents selected athletes are students from KAKOM athletes (n=100) and non-athlete students (n=100) in Semester 1, 2015/2016. The survey design and purposely sampling technique was used for data collection. The respondents are comprised of students majoring in Accounting, One Year Program (PST) Module 1, PST Module 2 and PST Module 3. Kajian ini bertujuan mengenal pasti perkaitan orientasi matlamat pemain bola jaring, stail kepimpinan jurulatih yang ideal dan sebenar yang diamalkan jurulatih-jurulatih sekolah di Perak dengan prestasi pencapaian pasukan pada Kejohanan Majlis Sukan Sekolah-Sekolah Perak 2012. Kajian ini juga mengenal pasti perkaitan faktor-faktor lain seperti umur dan pengalaman pemain dengan orientasi matlamat dan stail kepimpinan jurulatih. Data dikutip menerusi Task and Ego Orientation in Sport Questionnaire (TEOSQ), Leadership Scale for Sport (LSS) versi kegemaran (ideal) dan persepsi pemain. The content of this thesis is concerned with twofold areas of research: i) the synthesis of various types of bis(phenylpyridine) iridium(III) dicyanide complexes, and studies of their structural and photophysical behaviour; ii) the synthesis and studies of iridium(III) complexes, containing two fluorinated phenylpyridine-type ligands and two pyrazolylpyridine units, and their lanthanide complexes. Chapter One describes the general principles of luminescent cyclometallated complexes of transition metal ions. The purpose of this research is to develop a courseware for a topic, Heat and to study its effectiveness as a Computer Assisted Instructions (CAI). This software was developed to suit the Form Four Physics Syllabus for Secondary School Integrated Curriculum (SSIC). It was written in English version. The multimedia courseware was designed according to an analysis on the teachers’ need which was identified and based on the Alessi & Trollip Model. The teachers’ need analysis for this work was carried out by interviewing Form Four Physics teachers with 3 to 15 years of teaching experience. The multimedia courseware was then developed by using the Swish MX and Microsoft Visual Basic software. This module was evaluated by 12 Physics teachers in Kelantan through questionnaires. Journal of Sports Science and Physical Education 5(2): 15-23, 2016 - This study was conducted to determine the relationship between lower body muscle architectures and lunges performance. Thirty recreationally active, untrained men (mean age = 22.21 ± 1.59 yrs old) were recruited and involved in two testing sessions; i) anthropometrics and muscle architecture, and ii) multiple-repetition maximum (RM) lunge test. Muscle thickness, pennation angle and fascicle length of vastus lateralis (VL), vastus medialis (VM), rectus femoris (RF) and biceps femoris (BF) were analysed using ultrasonography. Multiple-RM lunge testing was used as an estimation of 1RM lunges performance. Correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between lower body muscle architectures and lunges performance calculated absolutely and relatively (1RM/body mass). Calixarenes is widely used as a sensor material due to nanoporous film structure. We used a type of calix[4]arenes to observe the suitability of calixarenes paired with Pb2+ ions. Langmuir Blodgett technique was used to observe the surface pressure-area (Π-A) isotherm, surface potential-area (ΔV-A) isotherm and effective dipole moment (μ⊥) characteristic of the calixarenes due to the binding interaction. The radius of Calixarenes‘ cavity was determined from its isotherm and we found that the cavity‘s radius is inversely proportional to spreading volume. When the PbCl2 salt is introduced into the subphase, the Pb2+ions begin to interact with Mat 3 until stabilization is achieved indicating the greatest number of ions that can bind with Mat 3 has been reached. Hence, ion sensing of Pb2+ ions using Mat 3 can be achieved over the range of 0 - 6.50×10−2-2 mM..
